Fit well, comfortable, keep your feet dry.
Keeps my feet dry and are surprisingly comfortable after walking in them for hours. Good value for the price.
I just gave them the biggest test yet. We just received about a half a foot of wet heavy snow. I thought I’d give them a spin. Was actually shocked how dry my feet were. They have great traction and are comfortable but you feel like you’re wearing lightweight tennis shoes.very happy with my purchase. In fact, I bought a second pair. :-)
Well these waterproof hiking shoes from Columbia is the best I've bought on Amazon. It seems to last very long? How it's made it's very good quality. It'll take some time of course to totally break in the shoes. It feels comfortable, but it needs a better insoles which I have put in already. Overall highly recommend it.
I have another old same oneVery comfortableAlmost daily useStay for long timeNormal waterproofedLike
I ordered these shoes for a trip to Switzerland with an extended forecast of rain. I did not want to have to carry boots but also did not want wet feet. At the price point, I did not expect great shoes but given Columbia I did expect them to be good enough. I am blown away by how comfortable these shoes are! They are light weight and waterproof as advertised… and very comfortable! I logged in excess of 10 miles per day in these shoes, and my feet felt great at the end of each day. Highly recommend purchasing!
I'm male and weigh 205 lbs. I had purchased the exact same model at a local shoe store (I got the last size 11 wide). I wore them for a couple weeks and liked them so much that I decided to order another pair from Amazon. I'll either rotate them so they'll last longer, or wear one pair out and then use the second pair. The shoes seem to fit true to size. They are not too tight or sloppy. They snuggly hold my foot and they don't slip on my heels. The arch support is just right for me, and they are comfortable to wear even when standing for hours on pavement. The shoes get good traction when hiking on trails. The laces have stitching along the edge and they hold tight without a double knot when you tie them. The breathable waterproofing membrane works well. I can walk in wet grass or get them splashed by a garden hose and not have the moisture reach my socks. They may be slightly hotter to wear than a shoe without the membrane, but not so much as to be uncomfortable. My feet don't sweat even in humid, 90 degree F weather, so they evidently are "breathable".They are VERY easy to put on and take off. Untie them. pull up gently on the tongue, and the laces will easily open up to make a large opening.
I don't know where Columbia get their sizes from, but it isn't normal human feet in America. I wear an 8.5 wide in nearly every manufacturer and these are TIGHT. Not as bad as another style of Columbias I tried a the same time, but even in a wide the toes on this shoe are squeezing my toes as I try them on. Feel OK on heel, a little tight on top. I'd almost guess they were cut for a female foot. Certainly not comfortable. Returning. Maybe up an extra size in both legth and width (if they even make an extra wide).
