Versatile Travel Companion! Explored diverse terrains straight out of the box, better than expected, light, and comfy. Good traction without feeling too sticky on concrete. This shoe nailed it. Breathable for summer, easily winterized with thicker socks. A perfect all-season pick!
Bought for my husband. His review:Zero break in, and they're only getting more comfortable as I pile on the miles in the mountains of Puerto Rico! Also really quite cool on the always hot road surfaces.Highly recommended.
First off the international shipping was superb. Absolutely perfect. And not too expensive! Win/win.Secondly prior to my purchase I read some comments online elsewhere that these shoes run thin and tight. That worried me a bit as I have weirdly sized feet. However upon receipt I tried them and they fit perfectly. There's no other word to describe that. Very nice. They look good and are for me quite roomy. They feel excellent while walking or while more strenuous activity. I have been told I look good in red and these shoes are a nice shade of red in the sunlight.Overall I am pleased and I recommend Columbias always to everyone... And the tradition continues with these!
Excellent quality and very comfortable. The foam inserts are not the cheap, thick foam ones that go flat after a day. These feel like quality, high density foam. You can feel the roll as you walk. If you rock forward they’ll let you. So I would call them extremely stable but that’s not a bad thing, just a specific feel. Some shoes your foot feels planted. These feel sorta like a running shoe. Great product
Great shoes. Right out the box and 9 miles through Yosemite with no problems! Better than expected, light and comfortable.
Just got back from Yellowstone and Grand Teton and these shoes were lifesaver with knees I'm working with. Comfort is an understatement with these shoes I was floating on air and they look great also. Totally recommend these shoes.
I wanted a shoe that I can travel with that can handle different terrains and at the same time comfortable. This shoe did it for me. I've tried Brooks and Hoka and they were known for their wide shoes offering; however, I have to returned every pair that I've tried on bc it was too tight or too wide to be comfortable. Tractions are good and not too sticky where you feel like its sticky onto the floor when walking on concrete. My only concern is that bc it is not too sticky it wont perform well when its raining. This shoe is also breathable and its perfect for the summer. However, you can turn this shoe into a winter shoe just by wearing thicker socks...so I don't think this is too much of a problem.
Lots of padding for feet with issues.
