Love theses!!
Ladies, anyone who is on there feet all day. These are the boots. The sole is chunky but awesome. I find that there boots with the wood heel don't work for me. I can always feel the heel pressing into my foot. The tall Anthem waterproofBoots rock too.
Very comfortable, very cute! Got the Brown Rebel and the Black in size 7.5 regular(B). These were my first cowgirl boots, so went thru a few purchases to find the right size and style. Thank you Amazon and the several vendors (Zappos, Bootbarn & Sheplers)For All the free shipping and returns involved Five Stars to all .I think I am a true 7.5 but have been buying 8 and 8 wide for so long because it seems they just make shoes smaller now.(Feetdon't grow that much). Here's the rundown- the size 8B was definitely too big. The 7.5B seemed good, but just to be sure, I also tried the 7B,It was close call. The unknown was how much these boots eventually stretch out. So, keeping the 7.5 B, but if they stretch outtoo much, next time I will go for a 7Wide. But, love my ariat boots!.
Love these boots! Actually, I live in the northeast and resemble a cowgirl about as much as disco music resembles country music....you can see the similarities, right? This is my second pair of Fatbaby Boots. The first pair were purchased on a whim "gently used" from a seller on that most popular auction website that Ends in BAY. At the time I was looking for a sturdy boot to trudge through the icy, sloppy, new England winter in, not looking specifically for a "cowgirl" boot, but the price was unbeatable and I was curious. Here it is 2yrs later and it can be said that these boots are unbeatable and are still handsome to boot! They have been worn 5 out of 7 days per week for 3 seasons each year (would have been 4 seasons if I was 40yrs younger!).Most of my other boots and shoes are an 8.5 or euro 39. The Fatbaby boots I purchased on the auction website were an 8 and I was a little skeptical about the fit because I normally wear a size 8.5 shoe and can even go to a size 9 in a boot with thick socks on my feet. I have average width feet, not wide or narrow; I have a high arch and instep as well as a hammertoe on my left foot. (TMI?). However, the size 8 was perfect! So, I purchased these new Fatbaby Cowgirl boots in an 8, mostly because they were $20 less than the size 8.5 which I likely would have bought if the prices were the same.Once again, the size 8 fits perfectly right from the start, even in a brand new boot! These fit like a shoe approved by the American Orthopedic Association but look as fashionable (Wild?) as the Cowgirls that I imagine they were intended for! I wear these boots with medium weight wool blend socks. There is plenty of room for all my toes and there is no pressure across the top of my high instep or at the front of the boot across the ankle. I can not feel any of the seams or stitching the way other reviewers have written that they can. The back of the heel sometimes moves but does not rub or bind. The footbed is not like walking on a cloud. It is firm but comfortable and very supportive. The innersole is removeable and I can fit the semirigid type orthotics inside very comfortably if I choose to, but find orthotics are not necessary because the boot is very supportive in and of itself. The nonskid sole is not lugged and is not as thick as my first pair of Fatbaby Boots (which show absolutely no wear on the tread) but it does seem to be more than adequate. The shaft is soft and supple, not thick and rigid, fabric lined inside and suedelike finish outside. The height is just right on my leg under wool, corduroy, or denim pants. (I'm 5'6" and weigh about 140 lbs, size 10) The decorative stitching is lovely, the workmanship is high quality. The top opening is very roomy on me but I do have thinner than average calves. (Like I said, I'm no cowgirl)Great fit, Great fashion, Great performance, great price! These may be my second pair of Fatbaby Boots but I'm sure they will not be my last. Go ahead....take a walk on the Cowgirl side!
This is my 3rd pair in about 10 years. My first pair were hand-me-downs they had been worn by a 12 year old so they were well worn in when I got them. But I wore them for about 4 or 5 years and went and bought a new pair when the first wore out. The second pair I bought 5 or 6 years ago and the insides ware out before the outsides do. They are just so comfortable and sturdy and cute to boot😜🫶 love these boots.
Love these boots! My plantar fasciatis barely flares up anymore. Although, I get to sit down more often now to rest my feet. My feet are comfortable and secure, without feeling confined or restricted. I work security and patrol around a small factory with gravel and random debris scattered about. Having weak ankles, I was worried about twisting or rolling but so far these boots have been excellent.
Fit perfect
