The Pearl iZUMi Tri Fly Pro V3, introduced in 2017, positions itself as a premier choice for triathletes seeking performance and comfort. This updated model takes over from its predecessors, the Tri Fly Octane and Tri Fly Carbon, making it clear that every gram counts when you’re in competition mode. Designed with an incredibly light structure, the Tri Fly Pro V3 promises not just speed but also a barely-there feel for optimal performance during your cycling leg.
These unisex shoes enhance breathability while keeping your feet cool and comfortable, though women may find them offering more volume than women's-specific fits. The combination of advanced materials and innovative design signifies a leap toward redefining what triathlon cycling shoes can be.

Weight: These shoes are remarkably light, making them a favorite among competitive triathletes who seek every possible advantage. You will appreciate the ease of movement, especially during transitions.
Comfort: With the 1:1 Anatomic Tri Closure, expect no hot spots or pressure points. This system wraps around your foot snugly without feeling constricting. Many users have reported that this feature significantly reduces fatigue in the foot during long rides.
Breathability: The upper is crafted from a seamless composite material that adapts to your foot shape while allowing for airflow, ensuring that your feet remain cool even on hot race days.
Performance: The integrated carbon power plate means that each pedal stroke feels powerful. The responsive design translates well into efficient pedal strokes, which is essential for maintaining speed and energy conservation.
Overall, the Pearl iZUMi Tri Fly Pro V3 is a worthy investment for those serious about their triathlon performance. While it may take some getting used to due to its initial stiffness, the long-term benefits often outweigh this minor discomfort.

These are comfortable and your feet stay dry, even in very hot weather! The only downfall is the velcro straps....If these had a Boa dial to adjust the fit, they would be 5 stars. I just don't feel like I can get a perfect fit with the velcro and over the course of a long ride, I do need to re-tighten.
