The Irish Setter Elk Tracker XD boots stand out in the hunting category due to their thoughtful design aimed at enhancing performance and comfort. The nubuck leather upper combined with a locking hook system allows for a snug fit that prevents slippage, which is crucial during demanding hikes or hunts.
A significant feature is the CuShin comfort tongue, which alleviates pressure on the shin, making prolonged periods of wear much more enjoyable. The high-rebound ENERG material in the sole is particularly noteworthy; it provides excellent cushioning and shock absorption, effectively combating fatigue as you navigate rugged landscapes.
When it comes to comfort, these boots boast a removable memory foam/EVA footbed that adds another layer of support. Coupled with the neoprene lining equipped with TempSens technology, your feet remain dry and comfortable regardless of the sweat level or weather conditions.
For those concerned about traction on challenging terrains, the Vibram Bulls-Eye Air Bob Aggressive outsole does not disappoint. Its robust tread pattern efficiently releases mud and debris, ensuring reliable grip when you need it most. Additionally, the abrasion-resistant Armatec rubber rand enhances the overall durability, protecting against the inevitable scratches and bumps that come with outdoor activities.
With its UltraDry waterproof construction, the Elk Tracker XD boot manages moisture impressively, allowing you to focus on your hunt rather than worrying about wet feet. The option to have these boots resoled adds significant value, making them a long-term investment for avid hunters.

What I like abut is made from good material but this boot is not flexible is very hard specially in bottom of the boot makes it on comfortable for walking
I was very excited to get these new Irish Setter boots for pheasant hunting. I have owned Irish Setter boots in the past and have been very pleased. However, these boots caused such pain in the ankle area and around the top of the boot that they were unwearable and unbearable. After persevering through the pain for over a month trying to break these boots in, it was simply too painful and I returned them. Extraordinarily disappointed. Worst boots I have ever owned.
I use it for big game and wild turkey hunting.Comfortable, has kept my feet dry.Has one extremity annoying characteristic; on very steep slopes, when you’re putting a lot of pressure in tongue of boot, laces keep coming off the keepers-have to stop and re-tie often. Never had a pair of boots that did that.
These boots were comfortable but extremely warm. Even uninsulated in warmer weather was unberrable.
