I normally wear an 11.5 US, I ordered the 12. Fits great. The composite safety toe is thin and out of the way and does not rub. Very light compared to the Keens I used to wear. The soul is springy and feels great when walking. I have a high arch and it seems to conform well. I put from 4-8 miles on a day and from day one they felt great after a few minutes of walking in them. Construction is good overall. I am thinking I better buy multiple pairs because every time I find a shoe that feels as nice as this, they stop making them. Oh, they are waterproof. Won’t try that out unless I have to, but for me it has made my sweaty prone feet sweat more than my more breathable keen non- waterproof boots. Make sense? So if you gots da sweaty feetses, dis I’ll make em sweat mo
They fit perfect right out of the box. I wound up wearing them for about 14 hrs the first day as I forgot to take my sneakers to change into at lunch. They did great, no blisters, and my feet felt fine at the end of the day. I will definitely buy more Dr. Martens boots. One thing to make you aware of, they used an oiled type leather, it scuffs up really easily, like breath on it and it'll look scuffed. I have been using an oiled leather product on them about once a week and it takes the scuffs right out. It shouldn't stop you from buying, but if you can't stand any marks on your footwear then these will drive you crazy. If, however, you like the worn-in look, you'll be happy.
I bought the shoes for my son and he loves them. He was amazed as to how well they fit. The quality is fantastic. Can’t beat the price! The shoes are very comfortable. He was able to wear them the first day with no discomfort. Very pleased.
They feel great have to break them in a little however there very comfortable. Get them when the price goes down from time to time.
Docs always fit a little on the big side for me. Got a half size smaller and they fit perfect. Loving these boots so far!

Can't say anything about long-term durability but out of the box they fit right and seem to feel good and function as expected. They should really only cost around $80 or so IMHO since they're not an all-leather boot. Paying for the name I guess...
