Detailed Review

Your journey into the world of Dr. Martens begins with the alluring design of the Women's 1460 Serena Boot. As you lace them up, you’ll appreciate the classic silhouette that has made Martens a staple in countless wardrobes. This specific version, however, sets itself apart through its winter-friendly features. The combination of the burnished leather and faux fur lining not only reflects a stylish approach but also meets practical needs for cold weather.

In terms of comfort, the air-cushioned sole does wonders for foot fatigue, allowing for all-day wear without feeling weighed down. It becomes especially beneficial during long walks or extended outings. The Goodyear welt construction means that you’re investing in a boot that will last; each pair is crafted to withstand the rigors of day-to-day life while maintaining that signature Dr. Martens flair.

While the boots shine in many areas, it's essential to note the need for a slight break-in period. Initially, they may feel a tad stiff, but once they mold to your feet, you'll find them incredibly supportive. Additionally, the weightiness of the boot can be a trade-off; while it adds to the durability, some may prefer a lighter option for casual wear.

Ultimately, the Dr. Martens Women's 1460 Serena Burnished Wyoming Fashion Boot is a fantastic investment for anyone seeking a robust yet stylish winter boot. Whether you're navigating city streets or enjoying a country escape, this boot promises not just style but substance.

Comfy and cute!

Good boots! I can tell they will need some breaking in. I will say that they seem to run a little small. I wear a 5 and sometimes they can still be a little loose on my feet. These are definitely not loose. I'm hoping they stretch a little so I can wear thicker socks. But I mainly got them to wear with tights anyway. So we will see how this goes. This is my first pair of Dr. Martens, btw. And thank you Amazon (Shophop) for the speedy delivery!!! I am excited to have these before Christmas. Edit: I've been wearing them and walking around for awhile. They are already breaking in. Amazing! They feel way less bulky than they look. The arch support, which is important to me, is fantastic. They really support my ankles as well. And last but not least, they are WARM! Good boots. The quality is excellent.

Same and comfort

These are such comfortable boots right out of the box. No breaking in necessary. I wore them in for days walking in Canada cold and snow and my feet were so warm with just regular socks. Docs usually run large on me but these were true to size.

Great winter boots

Very comfortable and versatile boots. You don’t overheat while wearing them and are easy to break in. I wear a size 8.5/9 in shoes and got these in a size 9 so they’d be comfortable with thicker socks. I got the all black ones with white fur lining.

About the sizing...

Gen X here. I used to have so many pairs of Docs in varying styles as a teen and 20-something in the 1990's. I loved them. The leather is sturdy and as you wear them/break them in, they start forming themselves to the shape of your foot and ankle for a custom fit. The soles are air cushioned and really nice if you have to be on your feet a lot.I've seen people asking if these are real Docs and about the sizing.Yes, as far as I can tell, they are legit. They were packaged well, are well made and feel good on. I really like the fluff... So cozy.As for sizing, I wear a 7.5 US women. I always used to buy size 7 Docs back in "the old days." Now that I'm older and a little fatter I decided to go ahead and get a size 8. Well... I probably should have got a size 7, after all. They are a little bit roomy in the heal and toe. I'm not going to trade them, though. I got these for autumn and winter and plan to be wearing thick socks most of the time. So, I believe it really comes down to preference. If you are a half size and want a more snug fit, go down. If you want/need wiggle room, go up. Just be sure that when you break them in you lace them properly so you don't end up with a boot that chafes your ankles.

Very cool!

If these are 'fakes' like some people suspect, then it's well done to the point of being worth just as much imo.I posted the noted stickers of concern that another buyer mentioned so people can see what they are (except couldn't get the toe ones out, but I wouldn't have even known they were there if someone hadn't said it and I really dony care). I'm not sure what the one means, but I'd suspect you don't usually see at least the other in most shoes because they're not furry like these. The symbol one might confirm that some of these could be quality control rejects, because I didn't see the yellow QC sticker anywhere, but those fall off easily and that was the only sus thing I could find aside from not getting an extra pair of yellow laces. My laces are a little thicc and did come untied once during the day - which, I recall my 90s pair never doing that. But those were direct from the UK and lasted like 20 years. I'm hoping the quality of this new pair will match up but only time will tell. The leather looks extremely smooth and nice. I may take a walk to the store and just do a side by side comparison, but I could only find this color in this size here. The fur does cover the whole tongue of the boot, they look dope.At first the toe arch was tight indeed, because of the fur. They're nice and warm and easy to walk in. The toe arch loosened up after one wear and wasn't noticeable after the second wear. These ARE a lot more uncomfortable in terms of sole support compared to my doc Chelsea platforms with air insole. Those have a rocking motion to the sole and padding for the ball of my foot. I put ortho heel slips in the heel for extra support on these, but because the sole bends like a normal pair of docs, I may need a full insert and am unsure if that'll fit. Hopefully I won't need to update this if the sole comes off or something wacky but imo these are super awesome lil boots. And I love the fur and pattern.
