My favorite shoe
I have several pairs of Cobb Hill shoes that I love, and got these for barn shoes. Tried them on when they arrived, thought the left one was a bit wide in the heel, but figured with socks they'd be okay. But no. The left heel is so wide that even with socks and a moleskin addition it still flops on my foot. I practically need duct tape to keep it in place.The right shoe is a perfect fit. I am about ready to throw them away, and I've had them for about two weeks. They are really attractive shoes, with a nice study sole and look great with jeans. I am really disappointed.
I’m a true wide width & was excited to get these loafers. As soon as I opened the box I knew they were not wide. Looked & felt like a medium width. Cobb Hill is normally a good brand so I’m quite disappointed they would try to pass of their wide width shoes as wide width! Doesn’t uphold their long standing reputation for quality when they can’t even get the width right. Both shoes were marked 8 1/2 Wide.
