No one had decent shoes locally. So glad I found these. They fit and look nice with my dress.
These Aubrey shoes (I purchased the black) are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned in my 74 years of life--and believe me that's saying a lot. I'm tall and wear a size 11 shoe. I have always had ugly, mis-shapen flat feet with crooked big toes, too-long 2nd toes and little toes that stick out at an odd angle. I've owned dozens of pairs of shoes and boots over the decades only to have my feet rubbed raw in one spot or another.So it's No Small Thing when I tell you that these Aubrey shoes by Cobb Hill are the the best, most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever owned in my 74 years on this earth. For one thing, unlike regular sandals the style of these Aubrey shoes cover my ugly toes. But even more than that, the toe bed feels as soft as butter, and I've never been able to say that about another pair of shoes in my life. They don't hurt my toes at all. In fact, they are not only tolerable to wear but they are a joy to wear! I feel like I'm walking on cushions of clouds! For another thing, my black pair of Audreys is so well made that they have held up beautifully for 5 whole years now. And they're so versatile--I can dress them up or down.I wish they had a taupe color Aubrey in size 11 but at this time they don't. So i'm going to purchase the vanilla color for my 2nd pair instead. I'm trusting that the vanilla ones will be as well made as my black ones.
