This is my second pair of Cobb Hill shoes. I didn’t expect to wear the shoes as often as I do. They are black loafers with a slight heal. Not that I’m a fashionista… but they are worn with work pants & jeans. I can wear them all day and I find them comfortable (not as much as tennis shoes or slippers). I can walk around work or on the weekend but these are not the shoes I’d pick for Disneyland or being a tourist somewhere.
I purchased 5 pairs of Cobb Hill boots & shoes the past month, since they're built better than Clark's brand. I returned every single pair, due to ill fitting. Every pair was slipping off the heel, rendering them unwearable. Every pair was 1/2 size larger than standard sizing. If you order these, order 1/2 size smaller than your normal size, and prepare to wear boot socks to attempt to remedy the slipping heel. I couldn't get any of the 5 pairs of boots/oxfords to fit, even with boot socks. I don't recommend this brand at all until they resolve the heel issue and sizing problem.
Cobb Hill shoes are consistently high quality. I was excited to see the color options, and absolutely love them for work.
It is too loose and puckers as you step. Too large. Otherwise comfortable.
I do like these shoes for the look, quality, and comfort but, like a few other reviewers, I do admit they are loose in the heel so move a bit when I walk. It is not a real discomfort but they could be a bit more snug and they would be perfect. I ordered another pair in a different color before doing much walking but still like the shoes
I would love to “love” the shoes but after ordering two different sizes and neither one fitting, I will be returning them. They run large and are too loose at the heel. The left shoe feels fine, but the right shoe is too large - disappointing.
