Very cheap material, not leather as described as advertised. False advertising!
I really like these boots! I like the leather construction, the rubber sole, the short heel, the inside material and padding, and the back zipper! All is great. The one star off is because of the zipper decoration trim at the top of the boot. I like the look, but I find that it scratches my boots when I cross my legs or have the near each other. I wore them for the day and noticed lots of scratches... even though I had applied mink oil to them. They also scratch your tights or hose. I am wondering if I can cut it off... but don’t think so.I still love them, and hope to figure out that one issue.The sizing seems spot on, the calves are not too huge, the cordovan color is muted. The lighter color is unique.
I love these boots! Getting a ton of compliments. I found them ever so slightly large for me, but pretty true to size. I had ample room around the my calf and plenty of room in my toes, I might try a 7.5 in another color. Just a heads up. the cordo color is deceiving, they look tannish-brown on my monitor and they are actually a TRUE DUSTY ROSE color... I was a little shocked when I opened the box, but I quickly adjusted to the color and I actually like them even better. They are very unique.
Color more rose than brown but when polished looks great!
These boots were really stiff, and the cordo color looked pink! I thought the image made the boots appear almost like a nice cognac color. I will say they were true to size, but just not what I was looking for.
Condo is RED. They don't look red at all in the picture.
I usually wear a 6 1/2 tops, but they didn't have that size, so I opted for the 7. Thus they're a tad large, but fit fine with my orthotic insert and socks. I was a little leery at first about the pinkish tinge, but I actually received lots of compliments, particularly on the color. The leather is wonderfully soft, and they look much more expensive than they are. Caterpillar boots are the only ones that fit me comfortably (I have "problem" feet--widish, with a super high arch and pesky bunions). I wore these on a trip to London and was able to walk all over the city with no issues at all. I wish Caterpillar made more styles.
Love the color, both boots were scuffed a bit out of the box but over all great boots! If they had them in deep brown, i' d buy those too!
