Love me some Cat boots. I’ve got one pair for work as an electrician in the auto industry and one pair for everyday wear. Great boots. My Reeboks and these are tossups for my favorites. Very comfortable and true to size. I got the 12W and they fit perfect. I leave them just loose enough where I can use a shoe horn to get them on. I hate tying shoes. And it’s not because of my belly like everybody says. LOL. They go on great and aren’t loose feeling like you’d think.
Great work boots been working in a high work environment under construction in plants these boots are very durable have not shown one stray of thread or ripping of the leather these are great quality boots that will last for a while in the workforce and it's almost been 6 months since I got them
I just received my order on time and I gave these boots a look over. No blems, packaged well and they really look great! Next I put them on to check off size. I wear. Size 12 and depending on the cut shoes and boots can be tight for me. These are just right, not snug or loose! After a few days of stand giving them a chance to break in they have really become very comfortable. Very nice boot for the price. I read a lot of other reviews prior to ordering these and they were correct, great boot for the price!
Looked for a long time to find a great looking, leather, sturdy boot without paying hundreds. Fit was fine except narrow midfoot, even with a wide size.
This is my second pair of these boot. I abuse the heck out of them and still feel comfortable and not to heavy. Good leather quality! Very durable boots!Great price the quality of these boot are amazing!

Did the try b4 you buy because its hard to find steel toe boots that Fit, and are Comfortable, these are Awesome in both, hope this helps you with your choice, id buy again!
I have been buying and wearing these Caterpillar second shift soft toe 8 1/2 Wide boots for at least the last 15 years and have loved them. They have always taken a week or two to break in , but have always been somewhat comfortable and fit well right out of the box. The pair that I just bought on Amazon was extremely tight and all the material , the leather, and the collar were hard as a rock. It was so uncomfortable that I immediately took them off and checked the size written on the tongue of the boot, assuming they sent me the wrong size by mistake. They didn't, it was an 8 1/2 W . I don't know what Caterpillar has done but it was a big mistake and a very noticeable change in quality. The only difference that I noticed was that they were made in Vietnam instead of China, so maybe the different factory had different machines with different metrics to size the boots. I don't know and don't really care because I'm not going to keep on ordering bigger sizes and hope that they will fit right. Besides like I said, they were hard as a rock , I've never bought boots with leather that hard and inflexible. I was extremely disappointed because I have always loved these boots and love the way they look as well. So, I was faced with the chore of finding a new boot that was equivalent to what these used to be and hopefully not spend a fortune in doing so. I tried the walmart equivalent and it was very mediocre, did not have stitching to the sole and didn't look that great. Then I just purchased a pair of Wolverine floorhand 6" soft toe boots on Amazon which was truly a wide boot for my wide feet and felt great right out of the box, so I guess I have found my new boot. Hopefully , they will hold up as well as my old Cats. Time will tell. They also have a good look like the Cats do. I hope this is helpful to those in the same predicament!!!!
