These boots don't crowd the toes and are incredibly comfortable!
Overall I like these. They are warm and dry enough for winter walking. Good stable and grippy outsole. I would say they have more foot volume then expected based on other reviews. I have a medium to almost wide width foot - a C would probably work if it were available, but a D is too wide in most shoes. My foot is probalby not thick. These are wider across the ball of the foot, and have a roomy toe box. The insoles aren't great, but adding an upgraded insole or orthotic should improve this and they have room for that. The shoes did not require a break-in period. They lace tight, lower on the foot so I feel they can be secured for hiking and keep my foot in place on some grades, maybe not all but I haven't test that yet. They are light weight. Much lighter than my old Timberlands which I wore for yardwork mostly.Overall a good addition to walking/hiking wear.
Super light, great flexibility and perfect comfort!
Though I believe other reviewers that it will not be very durable, I like its comfort and light weight. I think it will be great for weekend hikes.
In Vans I wear a womens 7.5 USA / 38 EU / 24cm and the 7.5 I ordered were too big - had to return.The label inside the shoe says 7.5 USA / 39.5 EU / 25cm / 6 UK. Otherwise seem like a fantastic shoe.
Tried at least 10 different brands/styles, these were the best. Highly recommend.Comfortable and supportive. Light weight and breathable. Wore these to Sedona in August. NO blisters! Well worth the price.
These boots are somewhat tight in the toe box and do not support my ankles adequately and I have decided to return them, I think.Update: Didn’t return them, but tried adding cheap Dr. Scholl’s arch supports, which have solved the ankle problem. Now the boots fit perfectly and I love them! Softer and more flexible than my old pair of Asolos. My ankles no longer tip inward.
Runs large and not good for long hikes. Not seeing them as being comfortable on long hikes and being good for the ball of your foot. There are better hiking boots available than these ones.
