Vionic Women's Magnolia Shawna High Top Booties - Supportive Chukka Walking Shoes That Include Three-Zone Comfort with Orthotic Insole Arch Support

I am now a huge fan of the Vionic shoes, all types. The arch support is amazing. I ordered these to wear hiking and walking this fall and winter. The are casual and look good with jeans. As all of my other Vionic shoes, I love them.

These are very cute and comfortable with good arch support. The zipper is easy enough.

I have worn these several times, and always the Vionic comfort holds up. In the rain, no problem. These are super stylish and I ordered another pair for a gift for my daughter.

The only negative with these shoes is I live in a dry climate and they pick up and show dust and dirt too much. Otherwise they fit true and are comfortable

I bought these shoes as part of my business casual collection. I want to say that these shoes are very comfortable and able to be worn for a business casual look or everyday pair of shoes.I’m a size 8 1/2 regular width and the sizes are true to your foot size. I have zero complaints about any part of this shoe digging in to any part of my ankle, heel, toes etc…. Again, I’m basing my opinion on the fact that I am a regular width size.The shoes were not previously worn and had no defects in the appearance out of the box as some reviews eluded to! There is a suede appearance so with suede it has a softer, broken in look.I have recently struggled with immense foot pain primarily in the heels for excessive standing/walking-not diagnosed by a doctor-well maybe Dr Google! I have zero aches or pains while wearing these all day and into the evenings on some occasions.Someone asked the question about wearing these in snow. I have experienced snow while donning these shoes! About 2 inches of snow glazed with .10 inch of ice. Traction was actually great- surprisingly with flat bottoms. Thinking the rubber sole helped. The slush on the suede- allowed the moisture to soak in slightly. I decided not to walk around unnecessarily cause I do like these shoes and didn’t think it necessary to continue to walk around and ruin the suede with slushy water. I will spray to protect and be mindful of wet weather prior to wearing them.I realize that if I look at the manufacturers site, the reviews are more positive because the buyers are repeat purchasers! Hard to get honest reviews sometimes from here! I based my purchase on the reviews from the manufacturers site and felt the need to express to anyone who is curious about purchasing this brand to do a thorough research on reviews for the pair you are interested in!The prices on Amazon are better and the shipping is quick via Prime!! I have a chronic illness that forces me to take medication everyday, and it makes my feet swell so much. I have had to give up all my cool shoes— no more doc martens, can’t really wear vans or cowboy boots… and it’s very hard for me to find anything that I like that is comfortable to walk in and looks like my style.I am so happy with these shoes. I bought them in a 6 Wide so that when my feet swell from standing, they won’t hurt! I’m so happy and they have excellent support and are not heavy so they won’t add weight to put more pressure and create pain in my ankles and feet. I’m just stoked to get a pair of shoes that are cool, all black, very well made and super comfortable, lightweight, and you don’t even need to tie them. You can just zip them up and go. Excellent 🙂 worth the $

I've just started teaching and I have sensitive feet and high arches so I'm picky with my shoes. My feet are a little wider in the front but I have small ankles so finding the right fit is bit tricky. I wanted a nice leather bootie/sneaker to look sleek and professional while maintaining comfort and warmth for the season. These shoes are not sleek in my opinion and they look a bit masculine, which can be a plus for some folks. They have a ton of toe room and extra ankle room. They don't come up very high which is an issue for me since I tend to roll my ankles. My biggest issue with these is the soles. While they are very comfy and I can feel the arch support, I don't think the soles are substantial enough for someone who is on their feet daily and walking a lot (especially on NYC concrete) and for the price I would expect better. I took some side by comparison photos with the shoes I kept just to show what my expectations were. I think these shoes would be really good for someone who is looking for more wide/masculine shoes and wants a lower bootie.

I absolutely LOVE the Shawna ankle boot in green. This is my third pair of this style bootie. In addition to the green, I have them in black and grey as well.PROS: Looks are everything with this shoe, and the green is a wonderful shade! They are quite comfortable as long as you're not doing a ton of walking in them or if you have no foot issues. The arch support is okay but minimal. Your own shoe inserts are easily swapped in and out of these.CONS: Sole durability is awful. If you pronate or supinate, the sole might last a year with NON-daily wear as shown in the photos. Also, my podiatrist says the sole is "too bendy." If you are looking for support, these aren't it. I suffer from plantar fasciitis and even with my custom inserts, my feet hurt after wearing these if I walk a lot, because the soles are just too flexible. There is zero stiffness in the sole at all. My podiatrist doesn't know how Vionic could consider calling the Shawna "orthotic shoes."But still, I like them! I swapped out the ugly green/white shoe laces and put in black ones. (See pics) I think the look is far superior and they'd sell a ton more shoes if they'd just make that one change. All in all, if you're looking for a great looking shoe that pops with skinny jeans or straight legs, this is it. If you are looking for arch or any sort of foot support, you should probably consider something else.
