I really like the style of these boots, and the fit is decent - I did replace the insoles with something a little thicker - note that the insole is glued in so it was a pain to replace. I also love the color, but the material is suede cloth and scuffs really easily. The picture is after a half a day in an office setting. I got a cleaning and protectant kit and will see if that helps. Overall, nice boots.
I needed a new black pair of boots, and I fell in love with these! They are way more expensive at other stores (which I never would have paid because that seemed overpriced in my opinion). They are super cute and comfortable! I’m always a size 9 in every single shoe, but the 9 was huge on me. I went with the 8.5 and it fit perfectly. I wore these for 10 hours straight with no issues whatsoever. Absolutely recommend these boots!
I'm really enjoying these shoes! That said I had to make some major adjustments before this could be the case. The ankle area is really "roomy" relative to the foot part. I found that cinching down the laces + straps (which I was pleased to discover are adjustable, not just decorative) helped a lot. Also, as some of other reviewers have commented here, there's potential for annoying/painful interactions between the wearers ankles and a hard plastic structure in the back of the shoes. I walked three miles when I first received these, and my ankles were not happy. To address this, I cut into the inside of each boot and cut a bit off the plastic structure. I'm now able to walk comfortably, with warm feet. The bottoms of the shoes also feel really solid, which I appreciate. All in all, a bit of work required to get these into working form, but the outcome has been good.
I order the blue pair and it was a very dark navy almost black. So defiantly not the lighter color it shows in the picture. I returned them and got the actual black ones. The shoe is very comfortable but runs a tad big. I ordered my regular size but have to wear a thick cabin type sock which is no big deal since they're a winter shoe but, could have went down a half size. Overall for the comfort and price they are worth buying.
Boot does run a 1/2 size smaller, so glad I read reviews. Great looking boot, but wished they had a little more cushion to them. Will have to buy an insert cause after walking a lot my feet hurt. Good price.
Great quality! I’ve worn these boots a few times and they are comfortable enough to wear all day long. Easy to put on a take off with the help of the zipper. The only thing is they run a half size large. Depending on the shoe… I normally wear between size 9-10. I got a 9 and could’ve gone with an 8.5.Overall though great buy!
At first, I thought... OMG, these are too big! But after unbuckling, re-lacing and re-buckling tighter, they're actually ok, thank goodness. These are not tight fitting and the length is just right for a foot that's 10.5 inches long like mine, regular width. The foot-bed is plenty long and wide enough to accommodate a thick pair of socks and if someone has a wider foot, they may even serve you well also with a thinner pair of socks. I'm happy with the boots... wore them in town the other day and did quite a lot of walking and all was fine! These boots have a cushiony sole, which is one of the main reasons I bought them. So many others have that hard-as-a-rock one. Very happy with them overall!
