Dr. Martens Women's Leonore Chelsea Boot

Just received these today. I’m a 6.5 solid shoe size and sized down to a 6 because of whole sizes. If I had got a 7 they would’ve been too big and slipped up and down. I wear thin socks or no socks but I had thick they would be a little snug. I have a wide foot and they are a tad snug but I assume they will stretch out. So far perfect!

I shopped around for boots for over a month because I was being anal due to the cost. I finally decided on these and I will never look back. They are incredibly wonderful. I get compliments on them from 100% of people I see. Seriously. Love love love them

Fit great comfortable and warm

The fit: These boots are true to size and only comes in whole sizes. So - if you are in between sizes, size down for more of a fitted boot to prevent your feet from sliding around in the boot. I had my doubts ordering a size 7 (normally wear a 7.5), but I am glad I did since once I break them in they will loosen up more.How to wear them: honestly, you can pair these boots with any outfit and pair of pants no matter the style. However, given they are sherpa lined boots I would recommend wearing a breathable pair of thin style socks such as athletic walking socks unless you enjoy sweaty feet. I am wearing a pair of skinny jeans with a slim leg opening which allows the pant leg to tuck in without any overlap. I do plan on wearing them with a bootcut jeans and flare jeans. Whatever works best for you; i just hope this advice if helpful for someone.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ solid five star pair of boots.

In all honesty, Docs sizing is.... weird. Got these in an 8 (my usual size for Docs) and a 9 because others mentioned these run small - they do, and I assume it is due to the lining. Tried on the 9s first, they fit with regular-weight Darn Tough socks. If I tried thicker socks they'd feel too tight, so here's hoping they are as warm as advertised.The 8s never made it out of the box and will be returned. If 9.5 existed I would be tempted, but a 10 would be too big.They are comfortable. The lining is soft and feels warm. I do expect they'll stretch out a bit with wear, as that's what leather does (🤞) and I don't think these will need the same break in period of old school Docs like I wore waaaay back when. Putting them on and taking them off is easy.I'm glad I decided to just get them.

These boots are so cute and fit comfortably right out of the box. Like you, I read 7 million reviews to determine whether or not I should size down or up (I’m a true 8.5, and have a skinny foot. My foot measures an even 10”). Every review I read contradicted the previous. But I decided to size down to an 8 and so glad I did. They fit perfectly without socks and with. The have a nice snug feel, but not like they are too tight, like they fit good without being too loose. My toes don’t touch the front but are close. Plus I know they are going to stretch out with wear which will make them even more perfect. The 9s prob would’ve fit but maybe a little too loosely making me wonder how the 8s would’ve been for the rest of my life.Also I read reviews that said don’t expect them to be fuzzy like uggs which is true, but they are pretty darn close. They are really well made, beautiful leather and will hold up for a long time.Also I waterproofed them with leather wax prior to wearing.I hope this helps!
