Wasn't sure about the souls being able to take a beating. My shoes get destroyed at work. 3 months of the worst treatment and they are holding strong and still the most comfortable boot I've owned. I would definitely recommend these shoes.
I wear, and ordered, a men's size 12. Fit perfect (true to size) and is a very comfortable boot. Very pleased with my order. I've worn Wolverine and Rocky boots and rank this boot among the best for the price point. Would buy again
These fit well and true to size for me. They aren't as light as composite toes but not as heavy as steel toes. I like the tread, has good grip on wet and snow covered surfaces as well as ice. I wear them everyday for a total of 12 hours by the time I get home from work, and they are comfortable, but I always add some type of insole. The included insole though is quite comfortable while I used it for the first couple weeks.
These are the best boots I have ever worn. Very nice. I would purchase again.
Perfect boots for what I need!
I install fireplaces and work on multiple levels of the houses I work on. These boots get great traction on shingle and metal roofs. You still have to be careful of.slips, but so far I am impressed with the grip. They are a little big for attic work, but I like them anyways. Excellent protection. Quality build.
Bought to replace an older version of the same shoe that had finally broken through the lace loops after several years. Homeowner/farm use so not daily heavy construction use, but these boots are an excellent fit for my short wide feet with high arches. The insoles are very good and supportive. The lace loops that are leather loops were the thing to go first in my old ones. These are the same design, but they actually hold up. It probably helps that I don't yank the laces too hard when putting these on. The hook/eyelet things at the top are OK, but I prefer to keep them laced through the eyelets which also may hold up better.
Had a sole coming unglued on this pair, which I have used as much as previous pairs. I glued it back on, but it still separated some. Whatever process was used, vulcanizing, or some other, didn't work on these as well as before. Disappointing. Other than that, I will probably get another pair in the future. They work. Good protection and good comfort.
