Well made and and looks great! One fit perfect and the other needs to break in, but great looking boots!
Caveats - My first pair of cowboy boots. I'm in the military so I live in lace up boots and I know comfort.Pros - True to size 12D, comfortable out of the box, look good with jeans, not so nice that I'd be afraid to get them muddy. I love the leather soles - so much nicer looking and puncture resistant then rubberized. Made in El Paso...better then Chinese Ariats -Probably from a quality perspective, but if not at least from a 'keep the jobs' here perspective.Cons - Dye is a slightly uneven. Probably stored incorrectly - leather showed slight finish cracking (just above the toe and front of the ankle below the welt) when you put pressure on them. Note that the leather is not cracked, just crackks in the finish under pressure.Treated with mink oil when I saw the finish cracks. Darkened up the leather, smoothed out the color uneveness, and sufficiently moisturized it to stop the cracks. Don't know if mink oil is good for boots, but it smells like a baseball glove so I treated it like one. Got them for $140 after the christmas discount. I would pay full price for them though. Definitley remcommend them for cowboy boot neophytes like myself.
We purchased these for our son for Christmas. So far he really likes them. Tony Lama is generally a very good boot. I have two pair I have been wearing for years and they've held up well. So far these seem to be doing the same. He says they are comfortable and we really like the style for him. The toe is a bit wide for stirrups but he's wearing this pair for school.
Wonderful boots!
Most comfortable boot I've ever put on... too bad they lasted a whole 5 hours before the leather separated above the sole stitch line, large enough to where I could stick I finger through and touch my foot. Upon taking both boots off, I noticed the other boot was beginning to do the same thing in a different spot. Very comfortable, looked very good, wish I could have gotten more then one day of use out of them. Disappointed. I only buy for American made boots and this is the quality I received.
I love the boots. Comfortable and well made. I had not purchased a pair in a while so I was not used to the fitting. I wear a size 12 running shoe and ordered a size 12 boot. Way too large but was able to swap the boots out without any hassle. Amazon sent me an 11DD and they fit great!
Nice boots! Color is darker than appears in the pictures. Fit a little large through the heel. Width/length fit as expected. Overall very happy with the purchase.
They arrived quick very good looking boots, fit nice and very comfortable. Price point was around $145 not bad at all, this is my first pair of tony lamas and I have to say I'm a fan definitely getting a few more pairs in the future! Highly recommend
