I wear a size 8 to 8.5 and I also have a wide foot so it's hard for me to find a good tough boot that will last and that I can wear and ride for hours at a time. These are used as my performance boots. I'm in a quadrille riding Group on horseback and our home arena is the Rodeo of the Ozarks In Springdale,AR but we travel everywhere and I'm in these boots mostly all day and I drive oh to six hours or more on the road wearing these boots and I'd rather wear them than my most comfy tennis shoes. They're just an all around awesome boot. I got them filthy at the last chuck wagon races I was at and they cleaned right back up like brand new just with a little elbow grease and a damp cloth. These are worth every penny. And not too mention all the compliments I've had on them. Again, my normal shoe/boot size is an 8 but mainly an 8.5 and I got these in an 8.5 and they're true to size. They're perfect! Thanks Amazon! Oh and I got one hek of a deal. You won't find them any cheaper anywhere else. Cavenders wanted a fortune for them and I decided that I could get the same ones on amazon for way less and sure enough I was so right! :)
Have had these boots for several months, using them daily to ride multiple horses, doing barn maintenance (cleaning stalls, cleaning waters, feeding, turning out and round penning horses) and just walking around in general through rocks and puddles, and with all that I think I can say that they are holding up beautifully! No big issues, only some cosmetic scuffs. I really like the heel, that has a shelf that keeps my spurs in place! I don't really have high maintenance feet, no high arches or something like that, but my feet don't ache after a long day of wearing these boots, they are really comfortable! All in all I would defiantly reccomend these boots to fellow cowgirls like me!
Boots are amazing and beautiful! I thought I had to break them in but I didn't! I'm not a normal boot-wearer and bought these for a country wedding and I love them!! I will have to wear gel inserts, though, because my heels were sore after all day wear.
Very comfy and got lots of compliments. . Ran slightly large. The blue color looked a little bit different in person. . More of a turquoise blue and not as dark as the picture appears. Very good quality.
I chose these for my first square toed boots and I chose them offline where I didn't get to try them on or see them in person. I was rather nervous about getting them in the mail as well as excited, when I got them they were just what I wanted. the sides of them boots around the ankles were rough and hurt a little but that was only because I didn't have them broke in. I sprayed them down with a protectant spray and have broke them in and they fit perfectly and are exactly what I wanted. I have a pair of round toed ones and i just went down half a size and they fit perfectly. they are super comfy too and I thought that the higher top would bother me a little and I don't even notice. I would recommend these boots to a first time buyer and even those who want a new pair of square toes.
I usually wear a 6, but ordered the 5.5 and they fit perfectly. I have noticed that most of the square toe boots run big regardless of brand—that's why I ordered a half size down. I love the stitching and color of the boot. It looks exactly as pictured online and is quite comfortable once you wear them a while. The ankles are a bit stiff at first, but that's normal for leather!
This should have been a 5 star review! The boots are gorgeous and size wise they fit perfectly with the exception of the shaft which others have mentioned. I have normal size calves and in no way a large girl and they were VERY snug. Sad to have to send them back!!
These boots are gorgeous! The color is so vibrant, you will be sure to be noticed. They fit pretty true to size, a little stiff when you first try them on. I had to force my foot into them at first and need to be broken in, but they are really comfortable! Great price, so glad I got them!
