The Ariat Mens Rambler Western Boot Wicker 13 is designed to impress with its robust engineering and stylish aesthetics. When it comes to comfort, the ATS technology provides excellent cushioning while promoting good posture, which is essential for long hours of wear. The moisture-wicking feature is a significant advantage, particularly if you find yourself in humid conditions.
The unlined leather exterior contributes to a classic western look that pairs well with various outfits, from jeans to dressier attires. The Duratread outsole offers impressive grip on different surfaces, making these boots a reliable choice for outdoor enthusiasts.
On the downside, some users have noted that the sizing may not be perfectly accurate, suggesting buyers consider trying them on before purchasing. Additionally, the lack of lining means they aren't the best option for frigid temperatures.
Overall, if you're looking for a durable, multifunctional pair of boots that embody both comfort and style, the Ariat Mens Rambler Western Boot is an excellent investment. It's no wonder they've become a preferred choice among equestrians and casual wearers alike.

First time cowboy boot guy here. A friend of mine had these and I thought they looked really cool, yet tough. So I decided to grab a pair. First on the sizing, which is a bit tough. I usually wear an 8, but got a 7.5 based on other comments. This size for my foot is perfect. But what I will say is that the boot is EXTREMELY hard to get on your foot for the first few days. It really takes putting them on, and taking them off a number of times to stretch them out.But once they do stretch out, they are easy to put on and surprisingly comfortable. As they are my first pair of cowboy boots, I don't have anything to compare them to, but I expected them to be more rigid and clunky. The wide toe box provides plenty of room towards the front, and I think it gives them more of a "work boot" look than cowboy boot. It becomes a preference thing, but I really think they look great.I live in Minnesota and had these boots on while sledding with my kids recently, and they held up great and my feet didn't get cold. But I will say be REALLY careful walking on any hard packed snow or ice. The soles of these boots are SUPER slick. To sum up my feelings, I find myself picking out jeans in the morning that will accommodate my boots because I look forward to wearing them! (Note: I'm not an ultra-trendy guy, but I have found that my more slim-fit jeans do not look great with these boots. However Levi's 513 jeans work perfect)
First off the boots look and feel fantastic and are well made. The soft flexible upper and outside seams make them very comfortable. My college frat boy son is 21 and he went crazy over them and wants a pair exactly like them.Ok for the size issue. The Rambler has a square toe which is about a half size more room in the toe area, than the size would be normally.I wear a 9 D in all my casual and/or tennis shoes, but all my dress shoes are either a 8 ½ D or 8 ½ E. I also have a pair of Dan Post snake skin boots from the 80s and they are 8 ½ D as well. So if you are like me and wear a couple different sizes, base your purchase on a dress shoe size….then adjust. Now, for picking the size. Like I said, I based the size on my dress shoe size of 8 ½ D, then I ordered ½ size smaller and with the EE (8EE). I was really concerned with ordering the 8 EE, but saw too many reviews saying to step down ½ size and get the wide EE. I have never worn an 8 in any shoe, but it was a perfect snug fit with long dress socks. Wore them around the house inside so I could return them if I had to.Well after three days, they are really feeling good, still a little snug on arch on my left foot but not to and extreme. They don’t look or feel like a size 8 either, they look like a size 9 or larger from the appearance. So I agree with other on the Rambler: ½ size down and EE is perfect.
Every other review i have seen on here talks about the sizing. Everyone suggest ordering a size or half size smaller than they normally do. Do yourself a favor and go to a place that sells western boots and try some boots on. the proper fit for a western style boot is supposed to be snug around the arch /top of your foot with your heel in the cup, and with about a thumb worth of space at your toes. that goes for pointed, round or squared toe. I have worn cowboy boots, fancier dress style western boots, and even work styled cowboy boots. That's the fit, your foot shouldn't slide around, it should be snugged and secured in the boot. These boots I ordered true to my 11.5 size i get all my other shoes in and they fit like a dream. the color was great, the finish on the leather was great. If you're reluctant to get them based on reviews, I say get them. I'll update my review in like 6 months when they are broken in fully. But so far about a week into owning and wearing them daily? They feel great. Comfort, fit and finish.
This is the first pair of Ariat boots I have bought. These boots are sweet and they look great! I ordered the earth brown color size 15D. My other pair of boots are a size 16D and they fit a little large so I decided to go with a 15D because Ariat's have been known to run big and Amazon recommended I get a 15D. In running shoes, I wear a 16-17 depending on the brand and I'm 6'5 and my feet are not considered wide. When I put the boots on, it is really hard to put them on and to slide my foot in. I have to wiggle my foot and pull really hard on the pull straps to get them on. Once they are on, the instep is a bit tight, but the length and overall size is good and my foot feels secure and comfortable in my boots (besides the instep being kind of tight). I am hoping the more I wear them the looser they will become and the easier they will be to put on. Surprisingly, it is easy to take them off.I like the feel of the shaft being all leather. I always wear ankle socks and so far I have not experienced and uncomfortable rubbing, scraping, or discomfort.I am giving these boots 3 stars because they are hard to put on. Otherwise, they are great looking boots and the color is a little lighter than the picture in the ad. I will try to update this review as I "break in" these boots.UPDATE 8/31/17It took over a month but I can finally put these boots on without using a shoe horn. They are more broken in and they feel good. I changed this review to 4 stars from 3 because they fit better now but they are still tight on the top of my foot and still somewhat hard to put on. These boots are still badass and I get compliments on them all the time!
We had to send back for 1/2 size smaller but the price went up by $40!
Found these boots while on a 3 hour trip trying on boots at Culver’s. Left the store without purchasing to consider my options and found these on sale here. Extremely comfortable right out of the box! 8 hours of wear right after opening them, no issues at all. Definitely recommended especially if you’re new to western style boots as I am. I’ve worn lace up RedWings up until this point, and I’ll still wear RW for work, but these are perfect for everything else.
