I love Ariats for their wide sizes which me so comfortably. They age well, they're built well and don't delaminate or otherwise fall apart, and they look great at work and around town. I own probably 5 pairs and will probably buy more. Highly recommended.
Good looking boot with full leather.
I tried these boots on at a local store to determine my size prior to making my on-line purchase. Opened the box and was greeted with a brand new leather aroma; as the boots have never been tried on or worn by anyone else. I like the overall look and feel of these boots. From the 13" shaft height, embroidery, and color scheme - these boots are compatible with most of my wardrobe. Very comfortable too! These boots run slightly large in size compared to other Ariat models I've worn in the past. I'm a 9.5D in most casual type shoes and sneakers. In this particular model, I purchased a pair of 8.5D which I found to be a perfect fit. Boots aren't too big or too small. I believe the wide square toe configuration attributes to going one shoe size down. Shipment came prior to scheduled delivery date and was very pleased with this recent purchase.
Very Sharp looking boots, well made.A note on Sizing: I wear an 11 wide in tennis shoes and Merrell hiking boots.10 wide is too small for me in Ariats and 10.5 wide is a little big. Maybe a 10.5 d (regular width) will be the perfect fit?The wide do run very wide as it is a broad toe from my experience. Ariats seem very consistent in their sizing which is great.I found Tony Lama to be very inconsistent with their sizing and Dan Post boots run almost a whole size too small.Life is too short, buy the Boots !
First boot, Ariat of course.
I got lucky one night and caught over 4 pairs of Ariat boots for under 100 bucks each just because it seemed that they were odd sizes. 9 EE's and a 9.5 D. Just my luck, these are the two sizes I can definitely wear. These boots are great. Im not too keen on the rubber sole on some of the models, but it helps when you wear them all day long and are on your feet. Its almost as if your wearing tennis shoes with certain pairs of Ariats. Overall, they may be made in China, but I love them and thanks to Amazon, I got my boot game on point!
The left boot squeaks with every step!!! I cannot stand wearing them because of this annoying noise. Not too mention, people look at you funny because with every step you take, there is a squeaking noise coming from your boot. It sounds like you just came in from the rain, when it is NOT raining. So, I now have $200+ boots that are collecting dust in my closet. Unofortunately, the squeak did not start until the 2nd or 3rd day of wearing, which by this time I could no longer return. At least I do not think I could as I no longer had the box or tags.
Exactly what I was looking for. I reviewed a ton of boots before I purchased these and I don't regret the purchase. They fit well, good quality, and stylish. Recommended and am pleased with my purchase.
