Tried various boots in this price-range and they were made in the far east and the quality just wasn't there. These were exactly what I was looking for.
Got off to a bad start (1st order was 2 sizes in same box) got the order corrected and I am glad we did. These are the most comfortable pull on boots I have ever worn. I just ordered a second pair, so I will have 1 for work, and 1 for play!

First pair of Abilene boots and I can say that I will definitely be back for more made in the USA quality and not owned by some giant billionaire. Leather is incredibly soft almost didn't think it was cowhide it was so soft. I wear a size 11 and a half to 12 and was able to order a 12 and they fit perfect break-in period was about a day to two days.8 month update: stitching ride out over the heel between the heel cup and rest of boot. Gonna work on the warranty return. So much for quality2 year update: Can't get a hold of anyone at the company for warranty fix. So they are finally due for a re sole. The stitching never came apart anymore then described above. I love these boots my favorite pair for sure. I wish customer service was better and the stitching didn't crap out. But over all hasn't effected the boots. However, since they are getting resolved with leather slick soles I might get the stitching fixed as well by Rhines blot repair in Denver.
