Love the different color and pattern options. These are great for little kids and toddlers that love the play outside, especially if they have sweaty feet. Socks are optional with this shoe, easy Velcro and material stretches a little to fit feet. Easy to clean. Recommended for summer/late spring/early fall. Nice Tred as well and no complaints from my child, as to her feet hurting. Will buy again!
These are a must have for any parent! These shoes are lightweight and flexible, they are easy for my 5yro to put on and take off by himself, they're breathable (no more sweaty feet!), perfect for outdoor activities, they can double as water shoes when we go to public areas, the price was great for what you get from these shoes! They must feel good too because my son hasn't complained and he would let me know if he was uncomfortable. So far these shoes are a WIN! I bought them a little big because I wanted them to last but I will definitely get another pair when these get too small. Love these shoes and would recommend them to my friends and family!
Not only are these adorable, they are functional in every way! The soles grip well on slippery surfaces, they are well ventilated, fit snuggly, and easy (for the most part) to get on and off! These shoes were perfect for my toddler at the beach and pool. She played in the sand, ocean, and mud and never complained about anything getting in her shoes. Best of all, I can spray them off with the hose or in a utility sink and they are good to go! I wish I had bought these earlier in the summer so that she would have had them at the pop up fountains. Stride Rite has made the perfect toddler shoe!
I would buy these in every color if I could. I'm not a shoe person. But these are perfection for both my kids. The perfect shoe for coming in the house after playing outside with a muddy shoe.Pros: waterproof , breathable lightweight, great foot contour and support, not slippery when wet or sweaty footed;) easy to get in little feet by themselves. Durable. So so so easy to clean! Even the bottom crevices are contoured.Cons: son had a small blister on the inside ankle once in 3 months of wearing. And need more colors and styles with this awesome material! Buying another pair for my niece today.
In my experience Stride rite shoes usually run small on my son. So when half sizes weren't available we went up a size. The size 1 is a little large, and left a few blisters on my 6 year old after a weekend at a water park. He loved them to much to send them back.Aside from the sizing issue, which could have been rectified by ordering the 13, blisters included, these shoes are exactly as expected.My son loves them and will surely grow into the bigger size quickly. They are perfect for water parks, daily use and kayaking (as all have occurred in our week of ownership).The takeaway is if you're in between sizes go down because they most likely will be worn without socks.
My son hates regular sneakers but has foot pain when he wear Crocs, so we were so glad to find these. They provide decent foot support and my son's feet don't cramp when he wears these. We live in South Florida so we do a lot of Splash Pads and Amusement Parks and these work well for those types of scenarios so I don't have to bring water shoes and sneakers and bug him to switch them out. This is the second pair we are buying because he just grew out of his first. Definitely recommend these shoes for all parents! They make life so much easier.
Just recently got these for my toddler. My wife likes them and so do I for the simple fact that they can be worn like regular sneakers and can just as easily be used for water activities. Some people say they run big but for us they fit just right and we had to go to the next size up for ours. Only giving it 3 stars for now since like I said, we just got them. Will update review once they've been broken in.
I loved these shoes and my kids loved them as well. I purchased these for a recent trip to the river with my 4-year old. My son loved the color and the strap makes it easy for him to put on by himself. He has a high instep and wide feet so I am always a bit hesitant when ordering shoes online for him. These shoes are great for the rocky river bed and had much-needed cushion and support. I was a little afraid that they would be slippery on the rocks with algae but they had excellent grip, because of the material he was able to go from floating in the river to climbing a rope swing, back to the cabin without having to stop and empty his shoes of water or rocks. I can't rave about these enough. They got a little muddy but I just rinsed them off with the water hose when we got home. Cannot recommened enough!
