These Sperry Striders are comfortable and stylish beach / boat shoes. We have them in Blue shades and white. The "white" ones clean truly white when they get dirty from sand and pavement. Everywhere I sport these shoes someone will compliment the style. These are so fairly priced, compared to other "Rubber Beach Shoes" at $50+ a pair! - Really? for rubber shoes. These Sperry Water Striders are under $45 with nicely thought out style and appeal for adults who want to look sharp on the beach or boat. I'd start with the white and move on to the colors. My Fiance and I love these shoes.
I would give this 5 stars however the show is advertised as running average size. I will say they do run larger than expected. I own a set of normal Sperrys that are 5.5 and they are a tad small for my feet so I thought the size 5 would be perfect. Did notice the reviews so I was a bit hesitant but ordered anyway. I know the material was different so there was a possibility they would still be to large. These did feel loose when I got them and did try them on. Keeping in mind the material my last effort was to hope that they would shrink sense they are very similar if not the same material as crocs and they do shrink. I first left them in the hot sun and that worked a little, then left in the sun in my car and again worked a little, and the last thing I did was dry towel/shoe/damp towel in the dryer for 3 min. That did work and they definitely fit better and more snug. You might be able to try other methods to shrink if you like them and they just don’t fit quite right just do little at a time. The shoe does not seem to be any different from before just a bit smaller.
I have worn these on hikes, yard work, cycling, and boating - still in near perfect condition. Best utilitarian shoes I own.
The quality is great but the shoe runs large.
I usually wear a size 5.5-6 sneaker but these were huge in both length and width. Also don’t like the look of them so returned.
This water shoe is not only durable, but way “cuter” than most water shoes. Small pebbles were able to enter the shoe , but minimally. They are studier than other water shoes too.
Giant, oversized shoe.
I like how they fit and the fact that they are not material so they are dry by the time I get home.
