Perfect shoes. Both beautiful, light and comfortable. Ideal for summer. This is the third pair I have bought of this model.
The shoe fits great. Firm sole with well cushioned inside. Excellent support.
Awesome small boat shoe for sailing. Fit is snug but shoes are comfortably wide (3e here). non- marring and the synthetic is rapid draining and fast drying even at cold temps. Thin socks work best and in cold temps I used silk sock liners instead of cotton.
I have been wearing these for 2-3 classes/week for the past 9 months. They are holding up very well and continue to be comfortable.I have been doing water aerobics for about 2 years to reduce the wear and tear on my knees and back. I had been wearing my Keen water sandals until purchasing the H2O Escape. I had been looking off and on for a shoe that resembled more of a running shoe or cross-trainer. Finally found these this year. My size is the same as my Keen sandals and Timberland deck shoes, so UNLIKE OTHER REVIEWERS, I found them true to size. They are comfortable and sturdy and provide better cushion than the sandals. The side vents you see in the photo connect to the insole for effective water escape paths. After class I recommend you remove the liners and allow the shoes and liners to dry separately. Drying time depends on how warm and dry the air is where you leave them. Typically they are dry in 24 hours or less. Now I would like to give a plug for water aerobics for men; first it is much harder than I thought. I started water aerobics to help my wife when she returned to the class after her back surgery. To my surprise I found the class gave me (a 35-year runner and biker) a challenging cardio workout without the knee pain and swelling I was having even after riding a recumbent bike. Yes, I'm in there with a group of mostly much older ladies, but with a good instructor I get as much out of a water exercise as I want. Water is 12 times more dense than air, so running in chest-deep water works those muscles, but without the pounding of running on a firm surface. Throw in jumping jacks, soccer ball kicks, karate kicks, all the time swinging your arms or punching through the water and the pulse gets going. And try some pool "toys" like noodles. I found out it was not a toy when we started holding it under water and pumping it up and down, same for those foam hand weights. They fight back hard from under water!!Look up the advantages of water aerobics on the web and give it a try. If there is no class, you can do this yourself. After an hour you should expect to go home tired and for at least the first few classes you will be sore. If the instructor does not challenge you, complain, weaker students can always go slower.
Previous pair outlasted all previous shoes by at least 6 months. And I think these look good. These seem a little smaller than previous pair, tight but still fit.
I bought this shoes for my son and he’s so happy with them. He says that they are the best shoes for boats.
I can wear while in the pool. Helps getting in &out of the pool.
