When it comes to wet footwear, the NRS Women's Arroyo Wetshoes excel in several key areas:
Designed specifically for water-related activities, these wetshoes offer a balance of flexibility and durability. Their rubber outsole grips well on rocky or slippery terrains, making them ideal for kayaking, paddleboarding, or any aquatic adventure.
The soft neoprene material wraps comfortably around your feet without causing irritation, while the innovative PE shim insert underfoot enhances overall cushioning. You can wear these shoes for hours without discomfort, whether you’re wading through rivers or lounging at the beach.
The thick upper layer provides sufficient warmth, ensuring that your toes stay cozy even in cooler water temperatures. This feature is particularly appreciated by those who enjoy early morning or late-season water activities.
The pull-on design means you can slip them on quickly, making transitions between activities smooth and hassle-free. However, those who prefer traditional lacing might find this aspect less appealing.
Keeping them clean is straightforward, as they are machine washable, which is a significant advantage for busy adventurers.

a bit snug, like most water shoesand a bit on the big size by maybe 1/2 size
Wore these shoes while kayaking in late spring. Despite the weather only being tepid, my feet quickly became extremely hot and sweaty. Putting my feet in the cold water didn’t help cool them. I knew the material was supposed to keep your feet warm, but mine were uncomfortably so. Fantastic if you kayak in colder months or in icy cold waters, but unfortunately unusable once the weather gets over 60F. They also take quite a long time to dry.
I have a pair of the mens version and bought these for my wife. They are super comfortable! snug around the ankle to keep sand out, but not so tight as to feel like they are cutting off circulation.
