The KORKERS Men's Greenback Wading Boots are specifically designed for anglers who prioritize both comfort and functionality without breaking the bank. These boots feature a unique OmniTrax Interchangeable Sole System that allows you to adapt your traction based on various fishing conditions, ensuring that you stay steady on your feet no matter where your adventure takes you.
Constructed from hydrophobic materials, these boots promise faster drying times, significantly reducing the risk of transporting invasive species from one body of water to another. The durability of the design is reinforced by abrasion-resistant materials and thoughtfully placed seams that minimize potential wear and tear over time. Additionally, the internal drainage system ensures that excess water is efficiently expelled through midsole ports, helping to keep the weight down during long days on the water.
Featuring traditional laces with rugged web loops, the closure system provides a secure fit, making them easy to put on and take off even when wet. Weighing in at just 2lbs 8oz per pair and standing 7 inches tall, these boots strike an excellent balance between lightweight comfort and protective coverage.

When it comes to fishing boots, the KORKERS Men's Greenback stands out due to its thoughtful design and user-friendly features. The adaptability offered by the OmniTrax Interchangeable Sole System cannot be overstated; this feature allows you to switch out soles depending on whether you're facing slippery rocks or muddy banks. This level of customization adds significant value for anglers who fish in diverse environments.
The use of hydrophobic materials is a major highlight, especially in environmental conservation efforts. Not only do they help reduce drying times, but they also ensure that you aren’t unintentionally carrying unwanted species from one location to another. In a world increasingly focused on the impact of invasive species, this aspect of the Greenback boots is particularly commendable.
Durability is another strong point. With their abrasion-resistant exterior and strategically placed seams, these boots are built to withstand rough terrains, promising longevity even after extensive use. Additionally, the internal drainage system is incredibly efficient, effectively removing excess water which helps lighten the load during your fishing expeditions.
In terms of fit and comfort, the traditional lace-up closure provides a snug fit, although some users may find them a bit stiff at first. However, this stiffness tends to subside after a short break-in period, leading to a comfortable experience during longer fishing trips. Overall, the KORKERS Men's Greenback Wading Boots offer an impressive combination of performance, durability, and value for money, making them a worthy addition to any angler's gear.

This is my third pair of Korkers. Wore an earlier version out and got this version several years ago. They are still usable and have them in my motorcycle bag for the odd trip out fishing off a dual sport. Recently purchased another pair for Fly fishing with the wife. I buy a size down from my regular size because I like to wade wet and use them with just a sock. Very comfortable.
I wear a size 8.5 shoe and ordered the size 9 Korkers. Tried them on at home with a pair of socks on and they were a bit snug, but I was leaving the next morning on an extended trip and they had to do. Well, once I got to the river and put on my waders (with 3mm booties), they were way to small. Ended up losing a toe-nail and my arches ached for a week after. The good news is that I contacted AvidMax and, even after two weeks of fishing in the boots, the customer service rep (let's call her Carla), said no problem, send them back and we'll send you a size 10. I did and she did and I am a happy camper. It remains to be see how long the felt soles last before needing replacement, but the boots themselves are very comfortable (just remember they may run ~one size small as compared to other wading boots) and appear to be of high quality. And the customer support from AvidMax can't be beat. I just bought the felt-soles, but if I had to do it over I'd buy "Kling On" soles too. Not because I want to wade in them (I only wade with felt), but because there are several rivers I fish where, after fishing, I could put on the Kling-on soles for the hike back (thereby saving my felt soles for fishing).
This is my forth pair of Korkers boots. I like them as they are light and very resisitant. I do perform heavy wading in freestone rivers and felt soles are what I need to avoid falling into the water. Once I have tried the rubber soles but I could not stay on my feet in the rivers I fish. I had to replace them by the felt soles in less that 10 minutes. The best thing is that soles are interchangeable so if ithey wear, you can replace them at very reasonable price. According to my experience, I have replaced one or two pairs of felt soles before discarding the boots. I would not buy any other wading shoes than Korkers.
I had the all In one boot built into the waders for years….how dumb am I for not switching to these! The all in one works great and they’re cheap…these plus wanders are not cheap. In this case you definitely get what you pay for. I paired these with froggtogg waders and it’s like nite and day omg I’m hiking in the surf with nice dry comfortable hiking boots. No sloshing around in the boot for hours then you take them off and your feet are killing you! I got out of the surf got into my car and drove to another beach with these on! Socks completely dry I wear 11 1/2 normal got size 12…perfect fit. If you don’t know the difference between these and the all in one waders just switch to these, it makes surf fishing so much more fun and comfortable.
This product is on of the most comfortable wading boot that I ever owned. Felts grip well.
Nice boots. They aren't super heavy but supply plenty of support were you need it. The felt is my favorite sole, grips to slippery rocks really well without sacrificing comfort. I was worried it would be difficult hiking in the felt soles but that doesn't seem to be an issue. the felt has held up well through several days of steady use, so that's another plus. My only regret is I wish I would have gone for a pair with the Boa lace system, but those tend to cost a good bit more so for now, I'll keep tying my laces old school. These are nice boots and I'm very pleased with my purchase
Good wading boot. Light weight, drains quickly and very comfy.
If you know anything about fly fishing, you probably know about KORKERS wading boots. This pair was perfect for my 18-year-old son, and would do anyone well. If you’re in the high-end equipment and you like slipping in and out of them with ease, by the ones that have the boa lacing systems. Those run in the neighborhood of $200 but are worth every penny if you use them regularly.
