I use these for water rescue since nrs doesn't make shoes for people with small feet. They do run big... I normally wear a 4.5 thought a 5 (only size they had) would work with waterproof socks... ended up returning and buying the blue size 4 and they fit with the thick socks. Not much sand comes through and the are light weight so easy to swim in
My son is super particular about his water shoes. He HATES getting rocks in a typical water sandal, so I thought we would try these. They are perfect! We bought them for river wear and they allow him to have a stable shoe on, but it does a great job of keeping out most small rocks/sand. He is able to cinch them up tightly enough to keep most stuff out and they are super comfy. I literally bought every single option on Amazon for him to try and these were the only ones that didn't rub a toe or that were too flimsy AND they keep stuff out. With two weeks of daily river walks in Yellowstone, these didn't pick up a yucky odor, dried quickly and still look like new!
Kid likes them. Size is right on. I ordered two sizes and kept a slightly large one, so he can grow into them. These wash out and dry fairly quickly, as long as you invert them with the toes up and sole facing out. Time will tell on durability, but so far, so good after several wears over a few weeks.
I do water aerobics, and I have a size 8 women's foot. I ordered the 7s, and they were huge, so I sized down to the 6s. They still run big, but I needed the shoes badly enough that I didn't want to try for the 5s. The grip is great for a pool bottom too. They aren't as good as the Ryka pool shoes, but these are half the price and still have enough cushion and great grip.
I bought these for my niece. She was growing out of the purple ones. They are a bit bigger for her but they fit well. They don't fall off and she doesn't walk funny. She will be able to have them for a few years. Plus I believe they were cheaper on Amazon then the purple ones were at the store.
My son likes these. Great for summer running around and getting wet, and I like that they are more substantial and tennis-shoe-like than straight water shoes. I would say they run slightly big, as he wears a 4.5 in other shoes and the 4 fits perfectly.
fits good, maybe you can try different color, good quality
