When it comes to land-to-water performance, the Chaco Women's Canyonland Water Shoe truly shines. Its waterproof capabilities ensure that you can confidently transition from hiking to swimming without worrying about soggy socks or discomfort. The shoe's breathable materials allow moisture to escape while keeping your feet cool during hot summer hikes.
One of the standout features is the removable LUVSEAT™ arch support, which is not only comfortable but also promotes a healthy foot position. This makes the shoe ideal for those who might be hiking long distances or spending hours wading in water. Additionally, the two types of traction enable secure footing whether you're traversing rocky paths or navigating slippery surfaces.
However, some users have reported that the shoes may take a bit of time to break in fully, so it's advisable to wear them around the house before embarking on lengthy adventures. Moreover, sizing can sometimes vary, so measuring your foot accurately is crucial to finding the perfect fit.
All in all, the Chaco Women's Canyonland Water Shoe stands out as a reliable choice for adventure seekers looking for a durable, versatile, and stylish footwear option that performs well in both land and water scenarios.

These worked well for a last-minute purchase. I couldn't find my pair of water sneakers, which I knew were necessary to handle the ambulation on a beachy excursion during a recent family cruise. I ended up trying 3 different sizes of this style, and having to get the largest size (more than an inch too long) to accommodate the width of my feet. I really appreciated having the tongue free to move, not gussetted, because that let me open the entry of the shoe enough to get my foot in & situated properly. I wish they came in wider widths so I could have better matched the length of my foot, but the length issue is par for the course in almost all off-the-rack shoes, and the positioning of the lacing did the job of keeping my foot from sliding around too much within the shoe while not causing pressure issues on oddly-shaped points (created by arthritis). The lateral balance and traction were good when scaling steep ramps for transportation & between levels within the cabana complex, crossing yards of sand between the access road & the cabana complex, and climbing up a slippery flight of stairs out of the water. I was also quite pleased that they were comfortable enough (during only their third wear) that I didn't have to take them off in all the hours we were away from the cruise ship.
I love Chacos, and I cannot justify giving these shoes less than 3 stars.Pros:They are light weightThe arch support is phenomenalThey are comfortableThey are perfect for what I needed them forCons:They took a day to break in, but I had blisters for 3 days following.I bought them less than a month ago (July 20th) was on vacation for five days where I only wore Z 3's and I have a hole in the toe box alreadyI am sad because I just noticed today. August 16.They are perfect for everything I am using them for, except the odd short life expectancy of themI always wore socks, my nails are always trimmed, I rarely even ran in them.
I love chaco sandels so I bought these for work. With in two more holes started to form around the toes. Then on the sides. I am a little disappointed. they where very comfortable but they didn't last very long.
Chaco's shoes are among my family's favorite brands due to various reasons. This shoes were too big plus felt hard and uncomfortable when 2 of us tried them.I was looking for another style that I have and love but sadly and surprisingly has been discontinued!
A tie in tie after slight wear. Always wore socks. So disappointed. Can this be replaced or repaired?
