The Body Glove Women's Sidewinder Water Shoe is designed specifically for aquatic enthusiasts who demand both comfort and performance. With its stylish black and oasis purple color scheme, it not only protects your feet from rocks, shells, and debris but also looks good while doing so.
This shoe boasts a slip-on design, which is incredibly convenient for quick transitions between water and land. Made from breathable stretch mesh and neoprene, it ensures that your feet stay comfortable even during prolonged use. The adjustable shocklace system allows you to customize the fit for ultimate security and ease of wearing.
One standout feature of the Sidewinder is its Integrated Drainage System (IDS). This innovative system allows water to escape easily, preventing the pooling of water inside the shoe while simultaneously keeping unwanted debris out.

When it comes to water shoes, comfort and functionality are key, and the Body Glove Women's Sidewinder certainly delivers in both areas. First off, the slip-on design makes them incredibly user-friendly, allowing you to wear them quickly whether you're heading to the beach or getting ready for a kayaking adventure.
The combination of neoprene and breathable mesh provides excellent ventilation, ensuring that your feet don't overheat. This feature is particularly beneficial for long days spent in warm waters. Moreover, the adjustable shocklace system gives you the freedom to tighten or loosen the fit based on your activity level, ensuring a secure yet comfortable feel throughout the day.
The Integrated Drainage System is one of the highlights of this shoe. It effectively lets water flow out without letting in any unwanted debris, which is essential when you're navigating through rocky or shell-filled environments. You will appreciate how lightweight they feel, making them an easy choice for travel and outdoor activities.
In terms of protection, the Sidewinder does a commendable job. It shields your feet from sharp objects while still allowing you to move freely. However, be mindful that while these shoes are highly functional for water-related activities, they may not perform as well on rugged terrains or during extensive hikes.

I bought these to replace a different version of the same brand water shoes that started falling apart. These are much better quality and very comfortable to walk around Aruba on hot rocky terrain while at the national park.
I have extreme bunions and super narrow heels. These shoes hug my heels and have a roomy toe box for my bunions. The other PLUS is that the elastic laces are not so long that I can snug them up, secure the tip of the laces on their Velcro spot on top of the shoe, and I am ready to go. I love these shoes. I think they likely run a little long - but that is what has made them so comfortable for my weird feet. Planning on using them for Pilates and maybe beach shoes. Woot!
laced water shoe was well constructed except that lace stabilization tabs were not sewn onto shoe tongue, but fixated with velcro. Not sure how long lasting this will be to adjust laces, but not a huge factor in overall satisfaction with shoe; just curious construction. Shoe was well fitting despite wider footprint than my well worn earlier model shoes with "lockup" ties at instep. Both styles are equally easy to put on, but I have a long narrow foot to work with vs a wider higher instep foot. The drainage feature has not been tested, but assumed to be adequate. Wider footprint worn on a narrow foot may be troublesome with prolonged walking, but I am no longer a trekker. Just plan to use them for pool or beach walking.
These are comfort to the MAX! I have very narrow heels and these fit just right! Great for water or walking on safe/rocks. Would def recommend!
I have 2 pairs of these and they’re great. Very comfortable, I like that I can tighten them. I use them for my different water fitness classes and they work perfect for running and jumping around in the water. They do run big. I wear a size 8 in sandals and 8.5 in running shoes but in these I wear a size 7. Even when dry the 7 is comfortable and not tight.
These are great water shoes, however they do run big! Size down!
I love the style and the way they fit snug on your foot- except they are a bit long but it doesn't affect the comfort, (they definitely run big so order accordingly). They made it through our Ouachita River float without any issues. I definitely recommend them, just order a size or so smaller.
Bought these for an upcoming trip to Hawaii. Wore for the first time last weekend at a water park for less than 4 hrs. Afterwards I noticed that stitching is now showing above the sole seam. And the corner of the toe rubber is coming up. If I could return these I would. But bought at Christmas and am now having buyer’s remorse. If this happens after only a couple of hours of wear, I don’t see them surviving a week in Hawaii.
