I normally wear a 9.5 but got the 9 because they don’t come in half sizes and they fit perfect for water shoes. I got them for my SUP but mainly for walking on the concrete, or asphalt or dirt on my way down to the water and the rubber soles are very durable to provide the protection I wanted. That said, the neoprene upper is flexible, breathable and allows for effective and efficient drainage so my feet don’t feel water logged which I like. I’m actually surprised how well they work and don’t know why I waited so long to get a pair of water shoes. Finally, the three toe design is great too and allows me to balance and grip the board even better than not wearing any shoes. I’m sure after reading this review you would think I work for body glove but I don’t. In fact, these shoes are literally the first body glove product I’ve ever bought so, again, I’m pleasantly surprised. By the way, I surf too and have used booties many times before but really don’t care for them and prefer to surf barefoot. Maybe that’s why I wasn’t too excited about buying water shoes but I’m glad I did nonetheless.
I would prefer 1/2 sizes, but these feel okay. The 3-toe slips on easier than the 4-toe shoes. I use them for kayaking, and they should breathe well and stay on my feet in mud and sand.
I've purchased this brand several times and love the product except that they do not last. Ordered in July, I've used these for running on grass surface, bicycling, swimming and yard work. As shown, they still look good although the right one has come apart. The sole separated from the upper. The others I got at least a year out of before they fell apart, but much less this time. I'm not willing to spend more on a shoe that disintegrates in just a few months. Please make them stronger and I'll buy some more!
There are well made
We bought these for my husband while treading through creeks while hiking. Even though they fit perfectly and are super comfortable, they tore slightly on the first trip after 1 1/2 hours. They’re lightweight, easy to walk with and easy to put on. I will be returning them for another pair in hopes this was a fluke .
I really like the way these fit! I went on a float trip and was in the water a lot! Didn’t have to worry about walking on hurtful rocks or anything! And they wash up great!
Love these for river walking!
