I love this shoe. I have been searching for a shoe that is supportive, with a forefoot rock in the sole to prevent excess pressure on my big toe joint (hallux limitus) but that also doesn't look like an enormous orthopedic shoe. This shoe really fits the bill - it's super comfortable, fits as expected in my normal size, prevents pain in my big toe, and actually looks like a cute retro sneaker. They look cute with casual clothes and scrubs, even jogger-style pants. AND added bonus, they are waterproof - I didn't even realize this when I bought them, but a useful feature over the past few weeks with almost incessant rain. Haven't tested them submerged in puddles, but at least with walking in the rain my feet have stayed dry. Came back to buy another color!
These tennis shoes were a life saver. Needed a waterproof shoe for travel to Great Britain. Rained a lot of the time that we were there. These shoes are truly waterproof, my feet never got wet. Can't tell you how many times I stepped in a puddle and water went over the top of the shoe. Comfortable fit and not too heavy. Also good when it was hot and humid. I expected my feet to sweat in these shoes and they didn't. Great product!!
I always wear 7 in vionics, but this one was definitely miss- sized, could get my foot all the way in it.
Very attractive shoe. I usually wear an 8 in Vionics, ordered 8.5. Was way to small, toes squished, had to return. Other reviews that say these run small are not kidding.
The fit of these is about a half size smaller than my sketchers, but the support is great. I can stand and walk for hours without pain. The color and style is cute and goes well with jeans.
Good arch support & waterproof which is what I wanted for travel. Soles a little hard - needs more cushion
I love these shoes. I'm 24 and have plantar fasciitis and super flat feet. It sucks, especially because with my job I'm on my feet a lot. I saw a Podiatrist and she recommended Vionic. I liked this style and got them. They did wonders for my feet. I can stand, walk, or just be on my feet for hours and be fine. Sure they'll be a little sore but no shoe is going to cure plantar fasciitis. My biggest thing is the lingering pain when I sit down or lay down after being on my feet. That's almost worse. But with these shoes, I never have that. I never ever feel like I can't keep going. They are amazing. I have a few things from this brand and love them all. Get Vionic. You won't regret it.
These shoes look awesome and I was hoping they were going to work for me. I love Vionic Classic Walker and it is better than the Brooks shoes that I was told were supposed to be good for plantar fasciitis. These shoes did not hold a candle to the Vionic Classic Walker and they were very short and tight in the size I typically wear in walking shoes. Sent back.
