The problem with this shoe is one that I've encountered over the past year, and it's not unique to Vionic. Shoe are being made to be comfy slip-ons, but they're marketed as a kind of sneaker or walking shoe. This shoe had a high, hard arch. As with most of the other comfy slip-ons, the ankles are wider than the forefoot, so my foot slips around. I prefer shoes to hug my ankles. Vionic makes some beautiful shoes. I'd recommend their more classic line of walking shoes and dress causual. With the ankle being loose (so that the shoe will slip on) and there being no real shoelaces, it can cause problems for someone who needs stability in a shoe.
Not as comfortable as I thought they would be
Can't say enough about this vionic I just got it the other day and it is so comfortable but I haven't had a vionic sneaker yet that hasn't been comfortable. I like them so much that I got the blue ones . All I can say is I found my sneakers with the vionics.
Sadly I ended up returning these shoes after a couple of uses. One of them (left one) peeled my heel area despite the fact that I was wearing socks.The arch support was also just ok.
