For me, these shoes are perfect daily wear. I have neuropathy and an ankle injury so need good arch and ankle support as well as stabilization for my gait. These tick all three of those boxes and perfectly fit my odd sized feet. (One 7.5w, one 8.0 reg) They are also very lightweight and comfortable. I could use more ankle support because the ankle rise on these is only sneaker height, but I will shop Vionic for ankle supporting boots for fall and winter and, in the mean time, am using an ankle brace/wrap which the shoe accommodates nicely. I did insert additional arch orthotics, but will shop Vionic for those in future too.

Had to return the 9 ( my normal size) too short. The 9.5 worked better. Good quality on the materials and stripes. Attractive shoe & very goo arch support.
I have tried Vionics before, and found them uncomfortable. And I always had to order up in size. These Vionic Active Sneakers fit perfectly, are my normal size in most shoes of 8, and are wide enough for my fairly wide feet. And they immediately lowered the amount of knee and hip pain I have. I never want to take them off.

I originally found this brand from my podiatrist. I have a high arch and developed painful bursitis. Wearing these sneakers gave me my life back. I’m not kidding. I walk for an hour daily and was finding it difficult before I found these Vionics. No one believes me when I tell them that they are prescribed by my doctor because they are so cute!

This is a perfect walking shoe for those of us with pronation in both feet. It has adecuate arch support without being uncomfortable. The exterior is not fancy looking like many sneakers, but what's important is really there. If you have delicate feet and need to straighten your steps, go for it.
