I ordered this shoe because I had picked up a pair of really cute red sandals made by this company at a local shoe store. I was wearing them all the time because 1. they are super cute 2. they are super comfy 3. they track all my steps more accurately during the day via the app. I thought I need another pair of these shoes to be my workhorse shoes so I wouldn’t wear out my red sandals and I’m glad I did. You can slip your foot easily inside and with the top part a bit stretchy, the shoes really hug your feet. But this isn’t the biggest item for me, and no, it’s not the tracking part, it’s the part that the high arch is perfect for my foot. The Vionics arch is too high for me, the insoles I’ve tried don’t work but this shoe has the perfect height and placement for me. A lot of times when I walk, my toe will pop out of joint and until it pops back in hours later, waking is difficult and a bit embarrassing since I’m walking around with a limp. It’s also pretty painful but since I’ve been wearing these shoes, I have not had that foot/toe issue at all. The only negative thing I would have to say is they are just a bit tight and I don’t see that ever changing. That might not be a bad thing though.If you haven’t tried these shoes, I would recommend trying them and see if they will help you as well.
These are great walking shoes. I wanted something for summer... but most sandals are for “looks” not comfort.These look good and are super comfortable. The thick rubber sole puts a bounce in my step. I actually go for extended walks around the office, without having to switch to walking shoes.They also come in larger sizes. I’m over 6 feet tall, so my shoe size is larger. It’s difficult to find good shoes in larger sizes.I love them so much, that I ordered a second pair which arrived yesterday.I highly recommend them.
I was so excited to get these sandals and then wear them. However, I was so disappointed to find them to be narrow for my feet. The arch support is great but very hard against my foot. The shoe looks good and is very easy to put on but I found it to be too narrow and the arch very hard, which made it uncomfortable to wear. I will be returning these.
These are very attractive, neutral, and COMFORTABLE! I have problem feet, but these are so well shaped and cushioned, even at 66, I can walk and walk.
I have inflammation and arthritis in my ankles and feet! I have only been able to wear Alegria shoes for many years now! Alegria came out with these Traq shoes and they are amazing! At first it felt that the arch was in the wrong place until I took a few steps in them and then it was like magic!!! With these shoes on my feet and ankles just line up the way they were meant to!!! I can walk standing upright without a limp and no pain!!! I walked in them for a whole week and decided that I needed one pair in every color, that’s how good these feel!!! It’s great that they have a chip in them that you can track your steps but main interest is in the comfort and pain free feeling I get walking in them!!! Thank you so much Alegria!!!
I have a pair of Traq walking shoes that are super comfy so I thought the sandals would have a similar feel. I was so wrong! I didn't have to take two steps in these to know they were being sent back. Who ever designed these sandals must have arches across their whole foot instead of just the inside of their foot like us normal people. I don't know if the arch was just too wide for me but it felt like it went across the whole sandal and I felt like I was walking on the center of a teeder todder.
This sandal is very comfortable right put together box. Walk around all day with style, support and comfort. No blisters! The white does not attract dirt. Still look new after wearing around work all summer.
Wild print. Learning to love. Was going to use as house shoes, but will delightfully use in warm weather. (I own 6 pairs of Alegrias, only shoe I can sometimes wear without my orthotics.). Without being able to add orthotics the base is hard but doable. My feet feel stabilized by stretch fabric. Grateful for ALEGRIA!
