The Skechers Men's Go Walk Outdoor stands out with its lightweight structure thanks to the Ultra Go cushioning, which ensures that you don't feel weighed down no matter how long your trek is. The integrated Air-Cooled Memory Foam provides not only pressure relief but also an amazing level of breathability, crucial for those hot summer hikes or gym sessions.
One of the notable aspects of these shoes is their slip-on design, which is both comfortable and functional. This feature allows for quick transitions from indoor to outdoor settings, making them ideal for casual outings or spontaneous walks. The Goodyear Performance Outsole elevates your hiking experience by delivering exceptional grip and stability, essential for uneven terrains.
However, it's important to note that while they are water-repellent, they may not hold up against heavier rains. Additionally, some users have reported that the arch support might not be sufficient for more serious hikers requiring specific orthopedic needs. It’s advisable to try them on to find the best fit for your foot shape.
In conclusion, the Skechers Men's Go Walk Outdoor-Athletic Slip-On Trail Hiking Shoes provide a versatile solution for anyone looking to combine style, comfort, and functionality in their footwear. This is one of the most comfortable Sketcher's shoes I have ever worn, especially for hiking. It is well made, with a durable sole, and it is easy to put on. I would highly recommend this shoe for casual wear and hiking.
I was in Costa Rica for a month. I mainly walk everywhere. I can’t do flops bc I want my toes protected, and I don’t like keeping up with washing socks. I’ve always gone with a good slip on shoe. However, I’ve yet to get a pair that doesn’t succumb to the wear and tear of areas conditions. Problem solved. I wore these without socks and they held up perfectly. Comfortable and durable. I was skeptical but these were awesome. Pleasantly stoked. I recommend these!
Fit well and very comfortable. Look is fashionable enough for work, church, or leisure. I wear these daily.
Very comfortable, easy to put on - even if you need to use a fingertip to get the top of the heel to unfold.Worth the bother, since you get arch support in a shoe that's so comfortable you don't really want to take them off. I'll be looking for another pair of these, next time I need another pair of shoes.(plus, they come up high enough, I get away with not wearing socks!)
I bought these of all the Skechers choices because of the Goodyear tread that promised to deliver better traction. I've had a chance to wear them on both wet and snow-covered surfaces and can say that they deliver traction beyond that of the regular Skechers. My driveway is sloped and I'm getting old so falling is a major concern and these give me the traction I need to negotiate the hill with confidence, so much so that I bought a 2nd pair as insurance for the future. And along with that, I get the comfort and cushioned feel of regular Skechers. Win-win.
Shoe shopping for me used to be a complete nightmare. I'm among the 60% of adults with a left foot larger than my right. But, while the difference is typically 1cm or less, mine is more pronounced at 1/2" ... or a full half shoe size. Further, instead of being nicely aligned at 9-1/2 to 10 ... it's more 9-1/4 to 9-3/4. Making a size 10 shoe good for one foot but too long for the other ... while making size 9-1/2 then too short for one. It often takes weeks to discover if a particular shoe will work or not and, at its worse, half the shoes I bought had to stop wearing and, by then, I'd worn them too long to be able to return them. Very frustrating and painful. To make matters worse, big companies like Reeboks, Nike, and New Balance tend to switch to different factories from time-to-time. So, anytime I did find an exact brand and design of shoe that fit perfectly, I'd stick with it year after year until the latest factory products stopped fitting ... and I'd start the hunt all over for the next perfect shoe. That hunt thankfully stopped the moment I bought my first Skechers shoes and discovered that, regardless of the variety that I bought and regardless of the year I was buying them, they actually fit. Each and every pair. Regardless of whether they were sneakers or work shoes. Tie-ups or slip-ons. 9.5W is the magic number. Not only that, but, instead of having to replace them after just 1 year (or less), I've had some that lasted a year and a half and the last pair was at least 2 years if not 2 and a half. Unheard of for me in daily use shoes. The slip-on, non-leather varieties have definitely become my favorites. Convenient, flexible but durable materials, and inserts that I can use instead of having to replace. And, a special use purpose for a beach trip several years ago confirmed their made-to-wash shoes are exactly as advertised. After walking around on the beach in seawater, those shoes reeked until they were washed. And, all of the junk that had made them smell went away. Still have them for whenever I need them again. Skechers has definitely proven to be the perfect shoe brand for me.
It was too loose in the heel area. I find that a lot with Skechers shoes.
The shoes are somewhat comfortable. The side support is not good. They do not slip on.
