These shoes fit as expected for a size 20. The arch support was decent as-is and was sufficient for me for around the house, although I have plantar fasciitis and have to use custom orthotics for any length of walking so I can’t comment on long use. The shoes look great—I’ve been wearing them to work with my orthotics as my daily loafers and they’ve been super comfortable as daily shoes. I take around 5k-7k steps a day at work and my feet feel great at the end of the day with these shoes and my orthotics, something I can’t say with all shoes even with the benefit of the orthotics. I’m currently buying a backup pair in case they discontinue the shoe soon as I’m very pleased with these Rykas. I’ve been a Ryka fan since becoming a nurse, but these are my current favorite since I can wear them as business casual loafers!
I have had several pair of Ryka shoes, all size 10W. There is one pair that I should have gotten a 9.5W, but still wearable. Another that I should have gotten a 10M, but again, wearable. This is the only pair that were too narrow. And I don't mean a little snug. I mean they are so narrow that I cannot get my foot in there. An 11 would be way too long, so they have to go back. Otherwise they look nice, and would have been great for the spring and summer. But the sizing for these is a mess.
I have plantar fasciitis and arthritis in my feet. Bought Skechers slip ons first. Very comfy, but they slipped off my heel. Read the Ryka reviews and saw the heel is narrower, so thought I’d try them. Awesome fit and even have enough arch support I won’t have to put in my orthotic inserts. Ordering a second color today!
Thought Ryka was supposed to be more narrow in the heel but this is the first slip on sneaker i've ever purchased that slips off my heel with every step. Confused. They are cute and comfy, though, seem very well made and look super minimal (which is why I purchased them) but not the fit I'd expected based on other Ryka reviews. YMMV of course.
Very nice! A great slip on loafer that is a bit more stylish, has great arch support, and is comfortable to wear all day. Lightweight, too!
I love this brand. It is very comfy and easy to use. It goes with everything. Highly recommed.
I really wanted to love these, but when I went on my first walk in them, I could barely stand to walk any further after about 15 minutes because the footbed was so hard, it caused shooting pains into my toes.
Really comfortable, glad to have them, but I have noted they also make my feet very hot with low cut socks of several varieties. Evidently, this is due to being too tight--should've gotten the 8 1/2s.Hopefully, this will be mitigated as fall weather comes in, but wow, hot foot issues knock my rating down a star.
