The last 4 years I’ve been buying another brand of shoe. This time all the options from that brand were REALLY ugly.I need a shoe with good foot and ankle support… I’ve been wearing these new Ryka shoes for the last couple weeks now… no ankle pain, good fit. Plenty wide.
I love the look of the shoe. I normally wear a size 6, size 6.5 in athletic shoes. I ordered a 6 and it felt a bit loose. My foot wasn’t coming out of the shoe when I took a step, but I would not go power walking, running, a cardio class or any activity that requires quick lateral movement in these. I put an insole from the drug store and they fit better. I’ve worn them to the store, to work, walking the dog, to the airport (easy to slip on and off in the TSA line.) I didn’t order a half size smaller because Amazon didn’t have it in that size and another seller had them priced $20 more. I’m happy with these casual shoes.
I injured my ankle several yrs ago and need more support than slippers so I wear these. Easy to just slip on. I leave them next to the bed and just slip them on when getting up. They are extremely comfortable and are great for walking around the house or out to the mailbox. It has an excellent non skid sole. However, I wouldn’t recommend these for exercise or heavy duty walking. They are great if you need extra support around the house.
These are exactly what I was looking for in a walking sneaker/casual comfortable shoe.I used to wear a 6 1/2; however, that size has become too big. I purchased the 6 and they fit perfect.The left sneaker had just a tiny bit of extra room, but I wore them (the day after I received them) with thin "peds". They fit perfect and felt great. Very cushiony which is what I was looking for. I just received them and only wore them once, but I did a lot of walking in them. They are well made and look like the photos.I love that this is a family business which these days are the people/companies I go out of my way to support. I am very pleased with these and will be a return customer.
The left was too small and the right was way to big. These are crappy shoes!!!
These shoes are very comfortable and supportive. They feel good on my feet. I originally ordered my usual size 8.5 but returned them for a size 8! The 8.5 were too big (I’ve never had that happen before). But the 8’s fit fine and are very comfortable.
shoes were great just too big, had to return for smaller size. Just a half size smaller and perfect.
I ordered these for our trip to Japan- did not have to break them in at all- they were very comfortable!! I ordered a 1/2 size down from what I usually wear because I have narrow feet snd they were perfect! Ryka is my go to shoe!!
