There just isn't a good selection anywhere for size 16 shoes that I'd wear. Most of the time they're "boring". I wore black oxfords for 30 years, and when I retired I said "no more!". I stumbled on to these shoes while searching for something new, and glad I found them. They're well-made, comfortable, and they're not boring. I think the only beef I have is that the color is less yellow and more mustard, but beggars can't be choosers. Now, I need a bright green pair to complete the rainbow in my closet.
Very comfortable
Shoe has very good quality, construction, and comfort. Took away a star for the slippery sole.
So this is supposed to be a walking shoe. Yes, it is supportive and has a good walking sole and seems to be wearing well after repeated multi-mile walks. However, this shoe is very hard on my feet. There doesn't seems to be much padding. changed out the insoles which helped, but it is still like walking on concrete. Additionally, these shoes are VERY heavy. You know you have a pair of shoes on when you put these on. Good styling and seem to be made well.
Good looking shoe. Not as roomy in toe box as needed.
The shoe laces get cut by the eyelets when you snug them. Poor design.
I love these shoes and they have quickly become my daily shoe. I bought another pair in another color as well. They easily adjust with my Ortho inserts and feel great. I need a wide shoe and these really do the job abd my toes feel comfortable and not squished. Will likely buy another pair to use after current ones wear out.
Very uncomfortable shoes. I wear Rockport religiously for casual business shoes and they're very comfortable. I put one shoe on, put it down and thought I'd return. I couple hours later I decided to try one shoe on again but it was so uncomfortable, I boxed them up and started the return process. I bought these with the intent of hiking the South Rim Loop trail in Big Bend NP, but I wouldn't even walk in my neighborhood with them. I would have been in horrible shape hiking in these things. They are pretty cool looking though. LOL
