RevisedBased on the shoes purchased years ago. The quality is not the same. I can’t say that it has do do with the way they are made now. The quality based on my review below has not been met. The shoe has some arch support and found that when I purchased a 12 it was way to large for my foot. I returned the 12 and got an 11.5 and these were .5 larger it should have been an 11 shoe size.1st photo you’ll notice that the shoe incline is inwards.2nd photo there is a stretch line below the laces minimizing top arch support. It reduces the overall structure of shoe support. You can also see the laces tightened much more to support my ankle and minimize additional stress on the ankles.3rd photo shows that we’ll below the ankle support area the laces, and are tied through the lace straps and not the canvas/leather material. There is no upper ankle support through the leather or canvas.4th photo shows where lace hole should be to allow the laces through and tighten the ankle support area. This is a major flaw in the shoe design allowing the foot to press forward opening up the laces and minimizing any ankle support. Rockports were always known for excellent shoe quality. Not sure if it’s the times we live in but, I honestly can’t say they will do the job needed for walking long stretches of cobblestone, uneven stones, or gravel which is all over Europe. This pair was tested over the week in Europe and thankfully I had a pair of Hoka that did the job.The shoe supports the feet very well. Are the exact size when ordering. In the case physical ankle pain these shoes minimize that pain when walking several miles a day when traveling and on vacation. You can’t beat the price and Amazon’s try and buy make it worthwhile to check them out
It fits better than expected and doesn't hurt my feet but they could definitely use a little more padding.
Good fit and easy to wear all day. Not bad looking either.
These are not the Rockport I've had in the past. I ordered size 10.5 got them way to big I would say a whole size to big. In less then a week shoe strings are falling apart.
True to size, super lights and very nice looking color.
Order these in 11.5 wide but they fit more like a 12 narrow. Skinny and too much space in the toe area. Would give five stars if it was true to size.
