I walk about 4-5 miles most days,so shoes are important. I’ve been wearing these Rockports for about 5 months, and they aren’t showing any signs of wearing out. I used to wear Skechers slip ons, which were very comfortable, but they’d wear out in about 3 months. These are not as comfortable, but they’re fine. Also, these Rockports are more water resistant. I’d buy them again. They live up to the Rockport name.
I got these through Try then Buy. Overall good shoe. I wouldn’t recommend it for running or working out. There’s not a lot of padding.
100%
My last shoes were xcs shoes by Rockport. Comfortable, quality, good shoes. So I ordered them again. Now made in China. Bad design, poor quality, terrible materials. Not stitched together on the uppers, they are now glued. The material does not break in and so they are hard to get on and uncomfortable. Wore them 2 weeks to try and break them in and threw them away.
These are comfortable with stiff soles which provide a solid platform for the arch support. Many lighter weigh walking shoes sacrifice strong lateral support, these are not the lightest I’ve worn but do manage to keep weight to a minimum.
These must have been purchased by Rockport through a lower cost/quality channel. The Rockports I usually buy are not available at this time; supply chain issues perhaps. They don’t look like Rockports, and they don’t feel like Rockports. Surprised that they felt hard inside, I took out the insole and discovered that it is very thin. So I pulled a pair of inserts from an older set of Rockports and installed them in the new shoes, and now they’re too tight around the ball of my foot. So, yeah, they were so tight that they couldn’t comfortably accommodate an OEM Rockport insole. I can wear’em, but the toes on one foot get a little numb after a while. So if you’re a Rockport fan, I’d say wait out the supply chain issues and don’t buy these.
Met all of my expectations in a shoe.
Comfortable.
