I have had two pair of these shoes in the past and have enjoyed wearing them very much. I have a bad ankle from an old injury and cannot just step into shoes and have them feel good. These shoes are just what I need for support of my foot and ankle. I like the velcro, so easy to wear. The shoes last long also. When the ones I wear to work get a bit messed up, I use them for walking in my neighborhood. I've put many miles on them after they've had a work life.
Mother needed for rehab. Fantastic fit, comfort, appearance, quality and the velcro helps even more. Great for seniors. Slip on, close and go! They are slipped and oil resistant too. That is a plus for stability and confidence when walking or exercising.
I am satisfied with these size 9-1/2's, (U.S.) and as I wore them the first couple of days (exercising on a treadmill only on INCLINE LEVEL 4 and a speed of 4.5) they worked out pretty well, no real complaints.I had ordered some RJ-Sport Tieless Elastic Shoe Laces - Heavy Duty No Tie Shoelaces (delivered next day), also from Amazon, these made it all worthwhile! If you don't know about these, get a pair, then if you put them on correctly, (some people don't) you should be a lot happier with ANY shoe, not just these.(I wrote a review on the laces too, if you look at the Reviews and use "Newest First", I should be there explaining more about these laces)When I got my laces for another pair of tennis shoes that I wear I tried them out on the treadmill, it was literally like walking on a cloud! Of course, I have had these shoes for several years, they are well broken in too, I just never wear them, they are a half size too small. (size 9) You may think that odd, but, if you think about it, these laces are elastic (stretchy) so they allow your feet to be less stressed while walking, standing, or running. My foot (I'm thinking) was allowed to be at its widest, meaning, it had all of the room they needed, so these older shoes were no longer too small. It was just that my foot was just being cramped up in a shoe that needed to be wider. These laces made that happen, so they may be for you too.Exercising in these shoes after the laces made it to where it is effortless on my treadmill. (I am 68, but in pretty good shape) The laces make it much more comfortable that it can feel as though you are walking on air, almost. :)Anyway, back to the shoes... (Size 9-1/2) U.S.These appear to be made well, in this day and age most things are made very cheaply, as in, 'junk', but these look and feel as good as any other pair that I have owned. They look good, have no weird plastic odors like some things do, they are silent when walking, when some aren't, and no stress points that irritate your feet, at least on me.Nothing stood out bad or exceptionally good about these, which is good, I guess, usually, it's always bad, so there's that.Since I have not used them too long I can't say much about the longevity of these, hopefully they will be as good as the (positive) reviews said.I looked and looked, these were the best for the money that I could find, well, that comes in white, and 'my style'. Most times that is hard to accomplish. If there are any CONS, I don't know what it would be, but for the PROS, I'm happy, so that says something! Please do yourself a favor and check out either those laces that I mentioned, or, search around on Amazon and find the ones that you feel are best for you. I'm not connected to any of the companies, I just really love the laces. I loved them so much that I put them on another pair of 'tennis shoes' and also a pair of hiking boots. I have three more pair of shoes that I will be getting laces for also. So, I like them and really am happy that I found some. You should also love these shoes too! :)
Great product
Bought one pair and they were perfect. Lasted a year, I bought them for work and I walk A LOT. Bought another pair, same thing, and they are smaller and rubbed blisters on my toes. Won’t buy another pair.
I tore these up! I bought these a couple years ago before I knew how to drive, I would walk to work five days a week, be on my feet all day, then walk back home. They lasted me about 6mons-1year before the insides were torn to shreds and I had to get a new pair. I suppose if I was really down on my luck I could have kept them, they were very comfortable and functional. I now know how to drive and have a car, so I bought the workman's doc martens and they have been excellent for my line of work (food-service) and have lasted me twice as long.
I am a 60-year-old woman. Over the span of 25 years I've had my feet operated on 12 times. I need extra support from my shoes. Heels, sandals, any other kind of shoe is a distant memory now. So when I started a new office job recently, I got a little note from my doctor and I bought three different brands of shoes that could pass as a casual dress shoe. These are the ones I kept. Not only are they comfortable and presentable, they also make my large feet look smaller! I was hesitant to switch from my regular brand of shoe, but these Reeboks are perfect.
This is the worst shoe ever. I ordered an 8 WIDE, which I have been wearing for 20 years with no change in weight or anything. I wore Reebok for most of those years, until a few years ago they changed their styles and got worse with not as much cushion and strange fit. I decided to try them once more since for so many years I liked them. I ordered an 8 Wide as usual, and they fit snug when they came but being a senior I glanced at the 8 and thought they would stretch some. BUT IT GOT WORSE, MY FEET HURT SO BAD. I WORE THEM A WEEK AND IT KEPT GETTING WORSE, MY TOES WERE SQUASHED AND HURT SO BAD. I finally looked at the box and it said 8 but no wide, and I looked inside the shoe and it said 8 but no W or no D. These shoes they sent me are not what I asked for and they are worthless and hurt so bad. Amazon sent me the wrong shoe, so I don't know if the right one will work still or not. I wasted a lot of my social security money on this shoe and cannot afford new ones right now and have worn them a week hoping it would get better, so cannot send them back. I am pissed.
