I have troubled feet (bunion, swelling) and they're very wide, too (4E). These shoes are absolutely comfortable, right out of the box. They have a bit of "give" where needed, and the wide elastic and velcro strap is highly adjustable for fit. They are very lightweight, and they provide what I'd call moderate support. They don't provide the support or stability of a hard, heavier shoe, of course, so I wouldn't wear them for rough walking for for extensive walking. But for indoor wear and for walking on city sidewalks, inside stores, and so on, they are as comfortable as a pair of house slippers. The footbed is removeable, if you have your own preferred insole or orthotic to use. This is a very nice shoe of its type; in fact, one of the best I've worn. High recommended for wide and/or problem feet.
I bought a previous pair and this one were a little bigger. Sizing is off.
These are the only shoes my elderly mom enjoys wearing.
I love, love, love these shoes! My diabetic feet are so happy and they are cute enough for work in my office too! Best shoes I have found!
I love these shoes. Perfect support. Keeps my feet warm and dry in all weather.
Got a defective shoes. The pair is size 6 but the length of one shoe is longer and bigger than other.
Love them!
I walk about 6 miles a night indoors as a server. We all needed specific kind of work shoe by a deadline, and a mad dash for black, polish-able, comfortable yet supportive, hopefully non-hideous shoes began. My first attempt was Hush Puppies Epic Mary Janes, which were painfully hard. This was attempt #2 and I was surprised at how comfy they are.I personally think they're hideous, but they're so comfortable and lightweight that I don't even care. All of my coworkers rated the look from "Not that bad" to "Cute," and cocktail waitresses don't lie about shoes. I popped them off to show the other girls how lightweight they were, almost like Crocs, and how flexible the sole was, and how stretchy the material was so your feet can swell or you can add inserts. They received oohs and aahs for those features and a few girls took down the name so they could try and find them in their sizes too.I wish they had a little more padding on the sole, but again, inserts will work. They're black, look like leather, you can wipe spills off of them, and you can walk for miles and swell in them with no problems. I'm only taking one star off my review because I keep looking down at them and thinking, "Man, these are old lady shoes. But old lady shoes may be where it's at."
