I have worn the Propét Washable Walker for about 30 years and it is the best fit ever for my narrow 8-1/2 foot. Recently it was removed from the catalogs from which I usually order, so I was happy to find it on Amazon and ordered as many pairs as I could to keep for the future. I don't know why the company is discontinuing such a well-fitting, comfortable and simple style shoe!

I love these sneakers I have them in tan and navy blue and I'll continue to buy them as long as I can find them
I've bought hundreds of shoes over the years but never encountered another one like this shoe. Most shoes have the sole under the shoe itself. Not this Propet Walker. The hard sole wraps around bottom of the heel which sits in a depression surrounded by the rigid sole. It may have been necessary to provide this unusual type of support for the back of the foot to allow washable leather instead of the normal support provided by a leather shoe but the extended sole presses into the bone on the outer side of my foot. It might not bother someone who has more flesh on their feet.These wonderful shoes fit perfectly everywhere else. I wish I could have kept them.
For my 11 AAAA feet, these fit beautifully and very comfortable. The color is stylish and works well with many outfits. Wish they would make this in bright white.
It would be a good shoe if you get the sizing correct and don't need as much arch support. (Or you add your own) I usually wear an 8.5 W in shoes or I order a 9m if they don't have wide to accommodate my wide, bunion feet. However I ordered the 8.5 W and it was way too narrow and too short. It also didn't provide the arch support I was looking for. It does have some nice cushion though. I like that it is leather and washable, it seems durable.Compared to another Propet sneaker - Jodie Model, the Jodie fit me fine in the 8.5W and has more arch support and wider toe box. The Jodie model doesn't have the same shock absorption or isn't as athletic but fits my foot type better.
Most tennis shoes seem to be mesh. This are a nice leather that fits well and are comfortable for all day wear. The color is a nice match to almost everything
I had a pair of these in white that were quite comfortable, so I purchased a second pair in the bone color so I could alternate wearing the two pairs. The bone shoes were much tighter and really stiff and inflexible. They were uncomfortable to wear and never softened up and broke in. I eventually threw them out.
