I have a narrow foot and flat feet so I have problems finding shoes that are comfortable but these fit the bill for me. There is just enough arch support, heel and good tread on the bottom so no slipping. I recommend these shoes.
When I received these, I thought these shoes would be hot. Surprisingly they are not. Very comfortable to wear - have plenty of room in the toe box, and the narrow width was just right, even with socks. I did have to add an additional insole insert, as I have extremely high arches. Have not washed them yet, as they didn't get very dirty on our trip.
The shoe is fine, but not particularly comfortable because there is little padding and a low sole, not great for long walks.
As someone with very narrow feet and high arches, these are a lifesaver! Good room in the toe, but still nice and fitted around the foot with space to put an arch insert, no sliding! I would suggest swapping out the laces if you like to cinch them down, as the included laces are the flat ribbon type.
This style of Propet sneaker is the only kind of sneaker I have bought for probably 15 years. They have always fit my feet, are comfortable and well-constructed, and hold up for a long time. I have worn out about 5 pairs of black ones over the years, and about 3 pairs of white ones, but I also have bought them in several other colors which I wear less often.. It seems like the leather on these newer ones may be a little thinner than on my older ones. - time will tell. However, the adherence to size standards, and the quality of construction of these newest ones, appear to be as excellent as the first pair that I ever bought. Every time I have needed to buy a new pair, I am so relieved that they are still available - and my size is so easy to obtain on Amazon !

The shoes are roomy and wear really good. 3 stars because they are somewhat large and the support was not exactly what I was looking for. Wanted more instep support. Not returning because I do like them.
For about 20 years or more, I have always worn the women's Life Walker Shoe. When I couldn't find it, I was informed that it was discontinued and no longer available. I needed to find a shoe to replace it. I tried this one, and it is great. I am very pleased with the comfort and fit.
