These shoes are very comfortable and the fit is true to size. I did a brisk three-mile walk in them just after I received them and felt like I could keep going for hours. No breaking in required. They’re attractive, too.
I have foot and ankle problems. I also have knee injuries that affect my hips. All of this adds up to having a very hard time finding the right shoes/sneakers so I can walk without pain.I have tried so many others I lost count. They never did what they advertised they would do. If these didn't work I was going to bite the bullet and spend around $300 for a brand hoping they would work. These were comfortable from the first time I put them on. I have wide feet and the xx-wide fit great. My toes weren't bunched up nor were they not supported because the width was too wide. I do have flat feet so I did put in an arch support, but just a cheap one. It was double-padded and cost $1.99 and it solved my arch issue.I have spent $$$ on arch supports that never helped me. For the first time my feet aren't burning and painful at the end of the day after work/errands. I will be buying more in different colors. I would recommend trying them.I have used the the "try before you buy" option and I love it! It makes it a non-risk purchase. If they don't work out you can just drop your item off at an Amazon drop-off free of charge. They pack it and mail them back. Really no down side to it.
I have bunions on both sides of both feet, heel spurs, achilles tendonitis and constant pain. The soles of these shoes are a bit narrow. Thankfully, the upper portion are quite stretchy and accommodating. The minimal arch support allows room for my custom orthotics to fit perfectly. Asthetically, these shoes are quite pleasing. I did return them twice for different sizes and kept the third pair. The length is true to size. The width is narrow so I settled on a 9.5 2E. All my current (wide)shoes slip on my heel but these fit just right(thank you Propet). They are light as a feather. I doubt they'd be sufficient for heavy use or exercise. I'm just happy to have a decent shoe I can wear in public that is comfy for a while. I'm very happy with and do recommend this shoe.
These shoes fit great even on my problem feet. They are extremely comfortable and lightweight, making walking easy. I love that they are stylish, they don't look at all clunky like most other wide-foot shoes do. I usually have trouble with shoes being so tight across the top that I can't get my foot into them, but these Propét sneakers were very easy to get on. The toe box was fine in width, but a tiny bit shallow vertically, but not enough to be uncomfortable. I went for a long walk right after I put them on for the first time, and my feet felt great. This is my second pair of Propét shoes, I love both pairs, and I am so grateful for stylish shoes that fit!
It is really difficult to find cute wide width shoes, these are cute, extra wide, comfortable and a great value.
I had read some Facebook reviews that these were really comfortable shoes for travel. I bought them and wore them for short walks around the office and neighborhood. They were fine and I didn't have any problems. I tend to pronate, and I have an average width foot. I have them sinched up as tight as possible and they still feel a little loose. As I found out when I wore them all day in Rome, you can feel every cobblestone through the sole. I don't feel like they really provide a great amount of support if you have flat feet either. So between the cobblestones and the lack of support, my feet were absolutely killing me after a full day trekking all over Rome.I still wear them for trips to the store, or to the office because they are super cute and light as a feather, but I will be sticking to my Saucony shoes for the long treks and heavy Travel.
I have small feet, size 6 and I'm 5'3". I know women shorter than me that have bigger feet. My feet are wide though. I couldn't find the right fit in wide so my partner looked in extra wide for me and found me these. They fit just right and great for standing for long periods. I'm a part time cashier so I have to stand for work. Highly recommend!
+ lightweight, lacy-like material, enough sole padding, not a chunky sports shoe.- a tiny bit short in length for my preference, but it didn't stop me from getting a 2nd pair.
