I bought these for my mother who suffers from edema, left leg and foot very swollen. It has been hell trying to find shoes to accommodate the swelling, and these fit her perfect. She now can go into stores without folks looking at her feet and her not feeling a shame. These cover up her foot and are light weight as well. She has her confidence back! I read where some say they had slippery bottoms, well she hasn't said nothing about that, maybe b/c she is on the heavy side, they seem to grip ok to me. Thank you Propet and Amazon for such an amazing pair of shoes for my mom. To have seen that smile on her face was 'priceless'. I will be ordering her another pair.
I have trouble finding shoes I can wear, mostly due to the curse that is peripheral neuropathy. I ordered this in a 12 X (2E), based on my podiatrist's measurement and recommendation. I had ordered another pair of shoes in this brand but in a different style altogether, smaller size, and they were way too small. For me, these are way too large - lengthwise and widthwise - even with being adjustable. I'm bummed, because I live in a rural area and it's extremely difficult to get somewhere that carries larger sizes for women with foot issues, thus I have to rely on Amazon. (THANK YOU, Amazon!!)For someone who has feet that swell a lot throughout the day, and/or for someone who is basically wheelchair bound, these would probably be perfect. They seem to be very well made, and look extremely durable. I wish they would have fit, they seem to be comfortable!!
