Next, let's talk about support. If you use custom orthotics, you'll be pleased to know that these shoes easily accommodate them without compromising fit. The rubber outsole ensures durability while providing adequate traction on different surfaces, keeping you steady whether you're on a casual walk or running errands.
In terms of style, the sleek black design allows for versatility, meaning you can wear them in numerous settings—from casual gatherings to everyday tasks. However, if you prefer more vibrant colors, the options may be limited here.

We are pleased with these shoes. My father's confined to a wheelchair and his feet and ankles are often a bit swollen. Slippers are often difficult to wear as his swollen foot hits the top of the slipper (the "tongue") - bigger slippers are too loose and shoes with shoestrings are usually too narrow or too wide (and tedious to lace up). These shoes work well because the "tongue" fold backs so the top of the foot can slide in and the velcro straps can be easily tightened or loosened as needed. The shoes fit as expected and they've been durable (this is a second pair). The shoes' appearance is adequate; sort of dressy if you don't look too closely and notice they're 'nylon'. Good enough for non-work situations; my father's disabled and the shoes look good enough. On the other hand, I thought the arch support virtually non-existent - so I got Dad some Dr Scholl foot insoles. Probably unnecessary for him as he doesn't walk more than a few steps but if you're going to walk around, I'd highly recommend insoles.I'd buy these shoes again although I might take a closer look at versions that looked more like traditional leather-type business shoes. The nylon appearance of the shoe is okay but for the price I'd rather have something that looked fancier.
My husband has narrow feet and wears shoes and slippers out because his heels slide. He needs a good, deep heel well. I ordered these in a size 14 because I read that size 13 might be a bit small. The orthotic inserts wore the toes out of the last pair of slippers. The shoes fit perfectly. We do not wear shoes in our house, but still need good support. These are my husband's house shoes (Old-fashioned term, but accurate) With other shoes orthotic inserts take up too much space and cause more heel slippage. This shoe is deep enough to accommodate them very well. Thye are very supportive, easy to put on and take off. Good quality. Propet is my favorite brand and the only shoes I buy. Shoe box is high and soft. No spots that rub.
I love everything about these shoes except for one thing. The soles are absolutely hazardous. They offer little or no traction and any interaction with water you will almost absolutely slip and fall. I can stand doing the dishes and feel my feet start to slide out from under me ( no water on the floor linoleum floor ) . If you are on carpeting or grass you might be ok, but on cement , tile, etc watch out. Outside of that the leather is great, the neoprene stretches and fit perfectly. They are absolutely comfortable and have helped me be more active and my feet don't hurt nearly as much when I walk long distances. If I could take the soles from my old shoes and slap them on these they would be absolutely perfect.
I bought these a few years ago for my dad. The shoe has lasted quite well. It is easy to clean if he spills on it. The stretchiness in the material does not put any pressure on sensitive toe nails but has retained its shape. The velcro has held up well over the years and I love that I can adjust the velcro strap depending on how swollen his feet are. They are not heavy so he can walk easier. They look dressy in black so he does not feel like he is wearing a casual shoe. The staff at the nursing home where he moved to also love them because they are easy to get on and off of him.
Looks good enough I can wear it around the office so I don't have to wear regular shoes which always seem to hurt my feet, nerve issues. Nice double liner provides good cushioning, ample space in shoe for my feet. Did not expect that I needed a 5E but taking the measurements that is what it indicated and this fits accordingly. Not sure what the material is but it does make my feet sweat a bit after a long day but still they are more comfortable around the office than shoes and I can't wear slippers so it is a good compromise. The are comfortable to wear and provide good cushioning for my feet.
I purchased these for my husband who's had 3 toe amputations related to diabetes. His feet are very disfigured and enlarged as a result and we have not been able to find any shoes that would fit. These shoes work great - it has a neoprene front, so your feet can breath but yet stay warm. The neoprene is also wonderful because it's very form fitting. The rest of the shoe has a lot of structure and helps stabilize and protect his feet. The closure design is nice as well, expanding and contracting as needed with ample velcro to adjust to varying sizes. The rubber soles are easy on the feet - no clicking, slipping, etc... All-in-all we are very pleased with this shoe and grateful to its makers. So far, not complaints or problems.
Purchased these for my husband,he has had 4 surgeries on his right hip and has a problem with his leg swelling due to the hip surgery. I was so thrilled when I found these shoes they would be comfortable for him. Now I'm so upset, why would you make a pair of shoes with a smooth sole. Especially for someone that has problems getting around. My husband is unable to even push his chair back from the table withThe shoes on. I believe if not for the soles and running big I would have given this shoe a 4or5.
This shoe is perfect for my feet swollen with edema. My feet would not fit inside my regular shoes due to edema without a lot of stretching with a shoe horn and then they hurt. I ordered these Propet Men's MPED3 Pedwalker 3 Oxfords 1/2 size longer with an extra size of width. They fit perfectly and my feet were happy to snuggle inside of them. They required no shoe horn or having to cram my foot inside them. I plan to wear them everywhere as long as I have this edema which I hope is gone soon. Thanks Propet for a comfortable solution to a painful condition.
