The Propét Men's Viator Strap Shoe stands out in terms of comfort due to its thoughtful construction. The breathable engineered mesh upper allows for ventilation, crucial for warmer days or extended use. The adjustable hook and loop strap makes putting the shoe on and taking it off effortless, catering particularly well to those with mobility challenges.
When it comes to cushioning, the gel heel pad and supportive PU insole work together to create a pleasant wearing experience. This can significantly reduce fatigue when worn over long durations. However, users looking for more pronounced arch support may need to consider additional orthotic solutions, as the provided support might be insufficient for some feet.
Another notable feature is the shoe’s versatility. It pairs nicely with casual attire, making it suitable for both everyday wear and light outdoor activities. The siped rubber outsole instills confidence with its grip, ensuring that you remain stable even on slick surfaces.
In summary, the Propét Men's Viator Strap Shoe effectively combines functionality with comfort, making it an ideal choice for anyone seeking reliable everyday footwear.

Purchased for someone with Párkinson disease. He also has a very high arch making most slip on shoes very difficult to put on. He found these to be very comfortable, easy to put on and take off and they helped with his stability.
Can’t say more than this is my third pair for my son. The convenience of the strap and the comfort is well worth it. Highly recommended.
I purchased them in “used— like new condition” so the cost was substantially less than brand new. I have drop foot due to a stroke I suffered 2 years ago, so I need shoes that accommodate an AFO brace. The brace fits and thankfully the shoe width I ordered was 2E width because these shoes are narrow to begin with. Mesh adds breathability. I will re-purchase when the need arises.
Great shoe, with fantastic price point. Easy on and off for me. They do get dirty too quickly, but wash up well. I wouldn’t be buying my third pair if I didn’t love them. I’m going to chuck my pair that’s in poorest shape, and keep the other for working in the yard. My new pair will be worn on nights out;-).
I got the shoes from Amazon Warehouse for $24 vs new at $80. They fit great, are very comfortable and well made. Propet are one of few makers that make shoes xxw or 3x and 5x.
I have adema in both feet- unable to get any shoe to fit, tired of trying.
I suffered a brain bleed in 2015 and suffered nerve damage and ataxia. I can no longer tie my shoes and these are a great alternative. I got tired of only fine velcro shoes that looked like they were first in your citizens and not for someone like me.I put in some doctor show pads and these shoes let me be independent and a slip on very well. Definitely worth the price.
A gift for my Father n law. He has wide feet and he loves the shoes. He even wears them to church.
