After my 96 yr old father got home from the nursing home recently, his feet were so swollen that we couldn't get his shoes on. The home health aide had to put slippers on him so I could get him to doctor's appointments (but they just came off). Saw these shoes and ordered them a little larger than my father's usual 10 and half -triple E, got him 11 XX (which came to be like 4 or 5 E) and they are working perfectly! Look good and that one large velcro closure over the instep is perfect. His feet feel good and the shoes stayed on perfectly at this week's doctor's visit!
I'm a big guy (6'2", 375lbs), I have very very wide feet. My actual foot measurement is a US10.5 6E. I had never heard of this brand before, normally buy New Balance or Sketchers, but figured i would give this brand a try. I bought the US10.5 XX-wide and it actually fits really nice and feels really good. It might have been a little tight for 1 day but then felt like a normal worn in shoe would feel. It could be a little tight around the tongue area, but I didn't notice that too much like some other people did. There was enough velcro to go up and over my big wide foot. Overall Highly recommend as I was pleasantly surprised.
Nice fast on and off shoe. My only complaint is I like my shoes really tight. The velcro just lays over the top. It holds well, but just does not feel tight on my feet.
My husband has terrible adema the size was great and the Velcro strap works great. Makes getting ready for the day souch easier.
This is the 3rd pair I ordered for my husband. The shoe is very sturdy and he likes the velcro closure. He wears a custom made foot brace on one foot. The width enables him to use his brace easily. The reason I keep buying the same shoe, my Golden puppy got thenfirst two pairs and we ended up two left shoes :-)
Great looking and quality shoe, but were too tight, and strap was a little short for my fat feet. Had to send them back. I will order a half size larger, and wider next time.
I bought a similar pair of shoes from Propet about 7 years ago. The only difference with this pair is that it has Velcro closures while the first pair was lace up. Otherwise they are perfect for my flat wide feet. I like the speed of closure using the Velcro compared to lace up. It has a large toe box . I would suggest that if you buy you may wish to go up a half size.
One wonders how the Chinese can screw up something as simple as a pair of shoes especially since they have stolen most designs from the US ....but they got it done. Among the worst fitting shoes I have ever had, heavy, and the Velcro fastener lasted for about 4 months of occasional wearing.
